If you haven’t “met” the RMW team yet then here we are folks….
And no, we are not taking ourselves seriously. At all.
You see, for a long time now we’ve been wondering what the next step is for Rock My Wedding in terms of inspiring you gorgeous lot, how do we really cast the RMW style wand over Weddingville?
And actually the answer is simple. We get a whole lot of our favourite pretty together and we shoot and style real lovelies. Yup that’s right, we make REAL girls just like you look a million bucks, with beautiful gowns, delicious accessories, flawless make-up and so catwalk-worthy-we-freakin’-DIE hair design.
Rock My Wedding was never an excuse to put our moony mugs all over the interweb; lets face it, you guys might like a peep at what we’re up to from time to time, but that is not what we’re all about. Rock My Wedding is about building something genuine, something inspirational, a place to escape to when the pressure of W-day planning takes it’s toll.
So I’m pleased to say you won’t be seeing much of us again this week on the blog. Because this week is not all about us making out like we’re models. It’s about our styling. And our visions. And ultimately folks…. how it is completely possible to have YOUR DAY YOUR WAY. We want to continue to inspire your wedding day choices because that’s what we love the most.
This week on Rock My Wedding it’s Rebecca’s, Adam’s and my inner fashionista’s laid bare….so your comments and support more than ever before will be greatly greatly appreciated.
Oh and erm… the reason behind the slightly unusual hair-do I am sporting?
( Whilst Severin is beginning to gloss my barnet…)
Me: ” Sev, what are those big net ball things in your travel case?”
Sev: ” Oh those? those are for making hair very very big darling! You can only get them in Paris!”
Me: ” Really? Like the biggest hair in the world?”
Sev: ” Yes like the biggest hair in the world!”
Me: ” Um, Sev…. Can I have the biggest hair in the world?”
Sev: ” You want the big net balls in your hair Charlotte? BOTH OF THEM!?”
Me: ” Oh yes please! I would love them! please please can I?”
Sev: ” No problem. Your wish is my command! I will make you look like a Manga cartoon!”
Me: “Excellent“
And so there you are. The biggest hair in the world. Told you we didn’t take ourselves too seriously

Love this photo shoot. Obviously you need to be impossibly good looking to work at RMW. Although the bottom right one of Adam is actually, on reflection, not that sexy!

OMG OMG OMG. Brilliant!
Firstly, that one of Charlotte in the middle is my favourite. Your cheekbones look DIVINE. Slightly scared by the Miss Whiplash look you have going on in the one next to it.
Bottom left is my favourite one of Adam. Who reminds me of someone famous I just don’t know who it is.

We’re really looking forward to this week on the blog but at the same time really quite nervous, it’s our first time at really putting our stamp on style as it were.
My necklace and grey fingerless gloves are from http://www.cosstores.com – the same people that own/design for H & M, it’s like the upmarket version ( or so I am advised by the very nice sales girls in the Birmingham store!)
And how hot is Rebecca in Adam’s glasses?! I said she should wear them just for aesthetic appeal!!!

I asked Sev to give me bigger hair than Charlottes but he told me I wasn’t ready for it and that I NEVER would be. The look in his eyes told me that he wasn’t joking.
Ooh well this is all extremely exciting! I love the idea of seeing real brides – its brilliant!

So when will this new feature start? – it’ll be really interesting to see real readers styled up.
I love seeing the real wedding highlights, so the more we get to see of ‘real’ people the better – it gives the average bride hope that it will all come together on the big day and we won’t look like a dogs dinner (no matter how much I try to envisage the day I just can’t anticipate how I’ll feel/look – nervous/ridiculous/excited/giddy/meringue-like *delete as appropriate) .
