Amanda Wyatt presents “In to the Wilderness”

If you haven’t already looked at Amanda Wyatt’s stunning dresses then you really should. Having been in the industry for over 40 years Amanda Wyatt is an expert when it comes to creating the perfect dress for you. As a member of our Fashion Pack we know she creates the most beautiful designs and you can see them all in our Bridal Collections. With stunning statement pieces they really are dresses to be remembered and talked about long after the wedding.

So you can imagine we were super excited when we caught sight of this stunning shoot featuring not only the beautiful ‘Blue Iris’ collection from Amanda Wyatt but also a whole host of gorgeousness and inspiration for your big day. Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside at the gorgeous Owen House Wedding Barn, this is the most charming rustic barn location surrounded by enchanting woodland giving the perfect mix of rural beauty and modern pops of colour.

Feast your eyes on these delectable images and enjoy!

If this is just your style then Boris and Betty created this beautiful foraged look by mixing lush green textured foliage, faux fur, tweed and tartan alongside authentic aged wood back drops, hay bale stacks and reclaimed props -injecting some twinkly romance and elegance with mixed metal decor detail and lighting. Using a simple colour palette of greens, berry tones and natural wood alongside small detail of luxe gold and silver for chic
meets country. Instead of traditional wedding furniture try mixing in some unusual furniture using an up cycled butchers block and aged wooden spindle back chairs for an old world rustic look.

We do love a good cake and for this look simple is key. Keep your cake understated and instead of a cake topper use seasonal fruit, berries and foliage to decorate. Boris and Betty used hand painted gold figs and foliage to compliment the styling.

Use lighting such as Star lit back drops, large floor lanterns, festoon lighting and illuminated props to add ambience and romance, especially for an outdoor event at dusk.

Right, I’m off to find some foliage!
