Some of the most “wow” weddings I have ever seen are a monochrome and splash of a bold “jewel” tone colour palette.

Think black and white with a hot lipstick pink or black and white with a shimmering …….cobalt blue perhaps?

One of my favourite shops for dresses – Reiss, has come up trumps this Autumn with some fantabulous gowns which are utter perfection for bridesmaids, guest attire or the up and coming party season.

And let’s face it monochrome suits just about every skin/hair colour combination going does it not…..

Whether you fancy a bit of sexy cleavage on show or the more subtle approach ( I’m thinking this would rock with a chunky black beaded necklace) I think your maids would be A-ok with either of these lovelies. On the left the “Ricey” £179 and on the right the “Vallerie” £159
