RMW Recommends – Eclectic Eccentricity.

May 10th, 2012

Introducing Eclectic Eccentricity

Eclectic Eccentricity loves weddings. It’s at the heart of the jewellery we create. After all, our tag line is ‘Jewellery with stories to tell” and what could be a better story than the beginning of your new life with your beloved?

Each piece within the EE collection has a little story, whether it be a combination of the charms telling their tale, or the history behind a particular component. We like to think that their future owners will add to the tales of these old vintage pieces and weave a brand new story. We draw our inspiration from nature to create a range of feathered whimsies, timeless trinkets and floral fancies; from oversized statement leaves to delicate charm necklaces embellished by the seasons and winged hair accessories to tame your tresses. Together they weave a spell to charm you.

Eclectic Eccentricity are a Rock My Wedding sponsor.

RMW Rates – RMW Real Brides !

April 17th, 2012

So the first day is nearly here folks…. Tomorrow we will be posting the four finalists for Group 1 of the RMW Real Bride competition.

And we have a confession to make.

It was really ruddy hard. The standard was so high we literally didn’t know who to pick, even after a bottle of Pinot (yes – hope that doesn’t make us sound ahem unprofessional..) we were still dancing (literally) around in circles.

In the end Adam and I picked out a few of our absolute favourites and then literally picked the remainder out of a hat. Of course this didn’t work out that well as in previous real bride history we usually categorise the finalists in some kind of “similar” style group – so four entrants who were all having a “vintage-inspired” W-day for example.

So, again we just had to randomly mix everyone up, twelve finalists, three groups, one RMW Real Bride from each group will be chosen to write for us – absolutely no pigeon-holing.

Group 2 will be posted on Thursday, group 3 on Friday….

Thanks a million to all of those gorgeous lot that entered – we LOVED reading all of your entries and admiring your creativity and enthusiasm.

And remember, every vote except duplicates count so make sure you get EVERYONE you know to vote for you…(Yes even your Nan)

RMW Rates – Lisianthus

April 13th, 2012

Along with my current penchant for waxflower, huge peach roses and gypsophila is…. Lisianthus. I love the wide range of colours available (purple, blue, bright fushia….) and it seems to be a particularly hardy flower (the stems we had from our stand at NWS lasted well over a week afterwards).

I’ve got to admit my favourite kind are either the innocent plain white or the pink-tipped pretty variety.

Any of you lovelies having Lisianthus for W-day?

Yes?

Jealous.

Send your most lusted-after items to Ilove@rockmywedding.co.uk (W-day related or otherwise)
