Charlotte Balbier 2011 Collection

For our first bridal style feature of 2011 we are going to be introducing the Charlotte Balbier 2011 collections, English Tea Party and Sabella.

We all need some serious pretty in our lives right now and I think the two collections will not only delight those who are already fans of Charlotte Balbier, but will gain her new followers due to their differences….

The English Tea Party Collection

Classic Balbier Fans will not be disappointed with Tea Party. Think Pretty, very pretty, with lace a-plenty a touch of vintage and a lot of romance…

*Beau, Top and Cherry, bottom.

*Daisy, top and Flo, bottom.

These are just some of my favourites, a newer take on Balbier’s signature lace styles at the top and some strapless (although becoming less popular, looking very modern in these dresses)… etheral visions in the form of a floaty number, with the second 2 choices.

The Sabella Collection

This for me is where the collections come into their own… stepping away from the well loved designs she is more famous for, Sabella is named after Charlotte’s Sicilian grandmother. What follows is a more glamorous take on wedding gowns but with oodles and oodles of signature Balbier pretty. And we do like pretty.

*Sicily, top and Loren, bottom.

*Clockwise from Top left… Rosa, (front and back,) Carlotta and Olympia

The combination of layering, ruffles, lace and gorgeous mermaid silhouettes are really lovely, and none of the romanticism is lost with that Italian va-va-voom!

As usual, this is just a snap shot of my favourites from the collection, and we want to know which ones your favourites are – both from here and the full collection. Do head over to the Charlotte Balbier website and browse and if you would like to seek out a stockist, all the latest designer days etc are shouted about on the Charlotte Balbier facebook page.

Do tell ladies…

Yours Truly,

Rebecca
xoxo

PS There’s also quite a few different ‘short’ designs in the 2011 collections, so make sure you check them out if you’re looking for a short and sweet little number, plus the accessories collection to browse. Don’t say we’re not good to you! ;)

Wow Beau is amazing, I’ve never seen “Pink” on a dress quite like that before but it looks gorgeous x

  6. Laura S says:

Oh No! RMW fashion posts always give me the dress wobbles :) Love the lacey dresses xXx

  7. I actually tried on “Kitty” from a previous collection whilst I was planning, it was lovely and completely not what I would thought I would like initially. Charlotte always manages to create uber flattering shapes, I would try on Daisy in a heartbeat given half the chance – it’s beautiful.
