I honestly don't know anybody who doesn't like balloons - they're just so happy and never fail to make you smile! And they make such a simple yet striking backdrop to Claudia and Mirko's outdoor wedding ceremony. Surrounded by lush gardens on a terrace in sunny Barcelona, there wasn't really any need for more decor - the balloons were just enough.
Claudia's Bridal look follows the same ethos too - simple but very stylish. It's a combination of gowns created by her Mum and a seamstress and you can tell it was made for her by how beautiful and comfortable she looks in it. The last minute addition of fresh flowers to her pretty braid is perfect too, a little touch of bohemia.
The whole wedding feels very organic and just like a big party really, which is exactly what it should be! Thanks to Marcos Sanchez for the lovely photography too.

Claudia The Bride: The corset of the dress was made by my Mom and the skirt was made by a young seamstress in Milan, Lucia Romano. I wore simple pearl earrings and a ring borrowed from my Mom. My shoes were from Spelta Milano. My hair was done by La Nina de Los Peines, Barcelona.The Venue & Decor
We held our reception at Villa Maria, in Vallvidrera, in the hills of Barcelona, with beautiful views and magical atmosphere. The decor was inspired by our travels in South America and very coluorful. Yellow, blue, orange, purple. On the tables were lit boxes with our pictures and the countries we visited. All designed and decorated by Food & Event, who were also our wedding planners.The Flowers
We were in a garden so we felt that we didn't need anymore flowers. The ones that I wore in my braid were thanks to Food & Event girls who thought of everything!The Ceremony
The master of ceremony was one of our friends and six of them read something about us, it was very moving.The Food
Moncho's Barcelona were professional and very kind. We designed the menu with dishes inspired by South America: ceviche, pao de Queijos, suspiro Limeño, and they helped us to achieve everything we wanted...and much more!
