I’m guessing most of you must have heard of it right? camping only with a pinch of glamourama thrown in.
We’re talking wellies but we’re talking chic Hunter wellies or those with a super cool Cath Kidston-esque floral print.
We’re talking sleeping under canvas but extremely fancy yurt style canvas not a 2 man leaky tent from your local Millets.
We’re talking original 60′s caravans but re-decorated retro 60′s caravans complete with pretty chintzy china and cute cupcakes -not those where the door hinges are rusty and the windows are drafty.
And never have I been so excited as when I discovered the ultimate location for Glampers – Love Lane Caravan and Campsite in Cornwall.
* The Website illustration – we love!
‘Tis completely fabulous.
Not only do they have the prettiest meadow for you to pitch up your own piece of glamping spectacular but they also have renovated caravans for hire ranging from gypsy rose romance to the kind of pull-along treasure your Grandparents used to own.
*Afternoon cup of Tetley anyone? loving the retro decor
What Love Lane Have To Say On The Matter:
At Love Lane, we have a small selection of classic caravans that we have lovingly restored. Whilst keeping each as original as possible, they have been decorated and fitted out in such a way as to accentuate their individuality and character.
As these caravans were designed to stop where fancy took them, they are functional without the need for an electric hook up. They are kitted out with all that you might need for a comfortable and authentic caravanning holiday – the kitchens are fully equipped with “of the period” items that you would expect to find at home. Bed linen, BBQ equipment, and outside seating are also provided and will be set up ready for your arrival. All you need bring are your clothes and towels. So it’s a bit like having a rather stylish boutique hotel room in a fabulous location, and provides the fun and freedom of caravanning without the headache.
* Make like a fortune teller in this original romany number
The campsite is a short stroll away from a working organic farm that churns jersey milk into icecream, the little local village of Keverne and two picturesque beaches.
I’m thinking ideal Eco Chic romantic break for two, a fun packed hen weekend for your favourite girls or how about a reasonably priced mini-moon in the British countryside?
* Love Lane’s Campsite – lots of lovely near by to entertain
And I haven’t even told you the most ruddy brilliant news yet folks!
THEY DO WEDDINGS.
Uh Huh. That’s right Lovelies.
You can have your own “Wedding Day Festival” at Love Lane, with “plenty of room for a marquee” and with the use of the caravans to house your guests it sounds like hippy, bohemian W-day perfection to little ‘ol me.
In fact I am so excited by the prospect I can hardly ruddy believe it – Can you Imagine?!!!!!! Well yes I can actually – complete outdoorsy heaven.
And I know what your thinking – “what about if it rains?” well the answer is this – Can still be amazing, remember the wellies I mentioned at the beginning of the post? well check out our featured wedding Sunshine On A Rainy Day for ultimate inspiration, as you will see: the weather did nothing to dampen their spirits.
For more information please visit the Love Lane website…….. and if you do fancy it as a venue, Adam, Rebecca and I want an invite. Really.
Big Glamping Love

P.S Having just read this piece back to myself all excitement seems to have transformed me into some kind of “I can’t ruddy believe it” Victor Meldrew type character. Hmmmm, is it my age?
P.P.S I meant what I said about the invite!

Morning.
Love it. LOVE IT.

Looks amazing, and just what we are looking for to celebrate a friends 30th Birthday! But I can’t seem to click through to the website from your link, maybe it’s just my computer…?
Wow – this looks fantastic! I am thinking either minimoon number 2 or affordable UK holiday with friends that are now grown up and have kids to bring along.
Hi ladies, glad you like Glamping!
Linsey – it was my coding, I had an extra piece in the HTML that shouldn’t be there, should all be working now Pet

Thanks Charlotte x
I love these but its probably something I’d have to do with the girls, Mr B&C would ruin the ambiance by turning up in an American style 20ft winnebago complete with a “HONK HONK” on his way in.
Hmmm.. thinking hen weekend peut-etre?
xx
oh I’d be so jealous of a wedding there it would be gorgeous! x
that looks lovely for a little romantic getaway. any chance they except dogs?
Looks amazing! Do you know of any glamping grounds in Ontario? Thanks for the post.
The majority of weddings I’ve ever attended didn’t have a field full of donkeys on hand, so for that alone, this sounds marvelous.
Love, love, love it!!! Glamping is far more civilised than camping. Camping is fine when you’re under 12 but it’s never held the same appeal for me as an adult. Glamping on the other hand….now you’re talking my language
Im going podding this weekend up in Northumberland and cannot wait! Not quite as glamorous as these but Im sure it’ll be just as much fun.
