It’s Pretty Wild Baby

So on a little RMW research mission ( we have these often) we discovered the very fabulous PrettyWild Design stationery company. Suzanne Osborne the designer and creator even let us have a sneaky peek at her new collection ( and let me tell you we felt very privileged indeed so we did)

The RMW Team picked some of our absolute favourites from the PrettyWild stationery fabulousness and Suzanne is going to tell us all about her delicious paper treats.

Over to the lovely Madam Osbourne…..

I love designing for weddings and never forget that it is always an honour to be chosen as a supplier for even a small part of a couple’s big day. I take the responsibility to my heart but also like to indulge my playful creative side, given the opportunity, and it is this aspect of my work that has proved increasingly popular as weddings and civil partnerships become more flamboyant or styled to reflect the personalities of the couple.

Weddings are a delicious feast of tactility, tickling the senses in every form – from sumptuous dress fabrics, to the delicate scent of flowers and texture and taste of fine cake. Why shouldn’t the stationery be every part as interesting for the guest to unwrap, handle and read?

“Spread the Word”

This was designed to be a quirky memorable announcement as an alternative format to the postcard and fridge magnets that have been popular of late – I’ve always enjoyed word play and using paper in three dimensions so why not combine the two?

Pretty-Carnival

“Carnival”

Delighting in the celebration aspect of love and ceremony this portfolio invitation can be personalised fully in extraordinary detail and is perfect for an informal or themed wedding. I always believe that the invitation is the ambassador of your day – something to whet your guests’ appetites.

Pretty-Summer
“Summer”

The typography should never be treated as an afterthought in wedding stationery design so here it has been used as the foremost decorative motif for a vintage style that can be used from invitations to on- the-day items.

Increasingly couples like to have their own unique thumbprint on the styling of their big day but don’t feel you need comprise your individuality by employing the services of a professional designer. We are used to interpreting briefs and enjoy the challenge to create something we hope you’ll love and can even create some offbeat items. Whilst we happily make the more traditional pieces such as the Orders of Service and place cards stationery can also be designed for other purposes.

Pretty-Sweet

Pretty-black

Candy buffets are very popular at the moment so we have often been approached to make gorgeous vintage style labels and signage for sweetie jars. A more unusual request this summer was for slider quiz cards on each table based on the couple’s movie theme. “

Gorgeous right?

Modern, quirky and whole lot cool.
