Inspiration

I'm pretty sure I've died and gone to bohemian heaven thanks to this stunning wedding, which is intimate, classy, trendy, rustic and romantic all in one. Multicultural couple Loredana & Jonatan live in Sweden but planned their dream day in Spain, inviting their guests to join them for three days of celebrations at the magical Marqués de Montemolar in Altea. The perfect October weather is matched by the picture-perfect décor, with a macrame table plan, copper chairs, an outdoor banquet table and a floral arch. And then there's our bride, in an utterly spectacular boho-chic dress. Plus, the Orthodox ceremony involves a crown. Enough said.

The Vibe Of Our Day

We wanted a chilled bohemian wedding with romantic, trendy details. In our original cultures (Romania and Armenia), weddings are too glamorous, and in Sweden, weddings are too minimalist. We wanted something in between: elegant, discreet, a bit rustic and modern. Something that represented us. Boho, macrame and the bridal gown inspired the decoration, whilst the zig zag lights over the table were such a love crush; we just knew that, in combination with the location, they’d be fabulous! Oh, and then there were the copper chairs, of course. Very on trend!

Macrame Table Plan

Our love for macrame will never grow old, and when our couples incorporate it into their days in such clever ways is it any wonder? Loredana & Jonatan's macrame table plan is both practical and pretty, directing guests to their dinner seats whilst also elevating the décor. We love how, at night, the installation is illuminated by lightbulbs, turning it from table plan to the most beautiful backdrop. The photo of our newlyweds in front of it is a definite framer. Favourite Moment Of Our Day

Jonatan's favourite moment of all, as he describes it, was when he saw his bride walking down the aisle. However, as a couple, taking a break in the middle of everything for a private shooting session with our photographer and videographer was the best moment. The sunset was amazing, the light was fantastic, the surroundings were sensational, and the whole vibe was so romantic. That was when we realised that we had just got married! The photos say it all.
