Inspiration

Natasha & Aaq weren't blessed with particularly wonderful weather on their big day, but that certainly didn't that stop them from having the best time. I actually think Larmer Tree Gardens, their venue, looks even more beautiful in the rain - everything is so green and luscious. And the atmospheric style of their photographer Jason Mark Harris lends itself perfectly to the changing light too. Their day looks elegant, cosy and inviting - which is how you want people to feel on a wet, grey day. Natasha's styling is gorgeous too, a navy and gold combination is always a winner and the sweet llama details adds a touch of fun. Don't worry, I've included tonnes of photographs below - including more of THAT sparkler send off...

The Bride

Natasha the Bride: My dress was my dream Pronovias Mariana dress that I paired with a simple plain cathedral length veil with a scalloped edge from The Wedding Veil Shop and beautiful Christian Louboutin lace shoes. My jewellery was all from Liberty In Love.

The Groom

The groom and groomsmen suits were all from Charles Tyrwhitt and the ties were from ASOS.

The Venue

The amazing Larmer Tree Gardens in Wiltshire that we stumbled on whilst looking through our photographer Jason Mark Harris website.

The Decor

The colour scheme was navy blue & dusty blue with hints of blush pink and gold. The bridesmaids were in navy blue, flower girls in blush pink and the boys in dusty blue all with blush rose flowers. The navy & gold was carried through the stationery (all invitations and on the day stationery designed myself) and napkins and gold added with the gold llamas (also hand sprayed myself). The favours were little jars of our favourite loose leaf tea.

The Flowers

The bridal bouquet and table arrangements were by Arcade Flowers and the bridesmaid bouquets were handmade by one of the bridesmaids Kirsty Ball.

The Wedding Party

The bridesmaids dresses were from a small boutique called Suit U in Monmouth. Their jewellery was from Accessorize. The flower girl dresses were from Matalan.

The Ceremony

We had the amazing Bristol String Quartet played the traditional ceremony music throughout aswell as through the reception. One of the ushers, Sanj Virk, beautifully performed a reading from Captain Corelli's Mandolin.

The Food

We wanted something fun for the reception so opted for an ice cream bike instead of canapés! Flavours included gingerbread, Cornish clotted cream, salted caramel & strawberries & cream. We are both steak lovers and wanted to bring our favourite steak restaurant in London (Flat Iron) to our wedding so had Flat Iron Steaks on our menu along with mushroom Wellington. We couldn't decide on a dessert so had a mini trio of desserts! During the evening to sober everyone up we had Cornish pasties specially delivered all the way from Cornwall by my sister! My family are all from Cornwall so it was a nod to where I spent most of my summers. Our stunning cake was designed and made by Louise at The Rose On The Cake. We had chocolate salted caramel on the bottom, white chocolate and raspberry middle and coffee and walnut on top.

The First Dance

We decided to have a go at a choreographed first dance to Shania Twain - From This Moment. We had the brilliant Sophie from The London Academy of Dance who managed to put something together for us in a matter of weeks!

The Photography & Film

Our photographer was the awesome Jason Mark Harris. He was the first thing 'wedding' we decided on and love his style of photography. The brilliant Inverve did our videography and we cant wait to see it. They have a very cinematic style.
