Inspiration

Iscoyd Park will forever hold a special place in RMW's heart. It has been the location for many a shoot including the RMW book Your Day Your Way and every time we see it our hearts swell. What has made this classic wedding even more special is the incredibly romantic candle light & blush decor. There's peony blooms, candelabra centrepieces, giant balloons and just an overwhelming sense of love, not to mention a rather stylish and beautiful wedding party. Bride Jessica looks absolutely flawless in her Pronovias gown, as do her maids in their pink multiway dresses with Jo Hastings Photography capturing some really lovely moments of the girls and guys dressed in their best as well as some more casual getting ready portraits. Even though the glorious Easter Bank Holiday is coming to an end now, this stunning wedding will still leave you beaming from ear to ear.

The Venue

Jessica the Bride: As soon as we saw Iscoyd Park we knew it was where we wanted to get married, and we didn't view any other venues as it was perfect for us. All the rooms are so light and airy, The venue is so beautiful but has a really relaxed feel with fresh flowers and candles throughout the house. The fixed marque is the best We've seen with a glazed front looking out over the gardens.

Hair

My bridesmaids and I had our hair done by Shelly Cox from The Amber Rooms in Shrewsbury. I wanted the hair to look loose and relaxed, I had mine down in loose waves and my bridesmaids had a loose up do. I found all our earrings on Etsy and my bridesmaids had bracelets from Accessorize.

Makeup

I'm a part time bridal Make up artist so I wanted to do my own make up on the morning, I used armarni luminous silk foundation as it doesn't have any SPF so you don't get any flashback from the camera, and Nars creamy concealer which really is the best. And then lots of Charlotte Tilbury products, I love all of her products. I asked Olivia Stappleton to do my bridesmaids make up and they all looked amazing.

Dress

My dress was from Pronovias, I wanted something that was figure hugging with a low back. I found it really hard to find a gold jewelled belt, I found mine on Etsy from a seller in America.

Bridesmaids

My bridesmaid dresses were from Debenhams. I knew I wanted pink but it was so hard finding the right shade and these dresses were perfect. They suit all shapes and sizes, and as they were multiway the girls could have them however they wanted.

Grooms Suit

Ollie's suit was made and tailored by Hugo Boss. A summer blue complimented by pale pink tie and pocket square to match the bridesmaid dresses.

Groomsmen

These were a three piece suit from Next with the same tie and pocket square. The backs of the waistcoats matched the grooms blue suit.

Flowers

Hannah Coulson from Pixie Browns was our florist and she was excellent. She really understood what I wanted and the flowers looked even better than I imagined. She also helped decorate the venue on the morning of the wedding.

Decor

My mum had some old wine glasses and we decided to turn them into candles for the cake table, I picked up some more from charity shops and they looked so lovely, even though they were quite tricky to do. We were really lucky as friends lent us most of our decorations, and the rest I hired from Tamaryns Treasures. We wanted our bridal table to be a round table in the centre of the room for a more informal feel. I chose a crystal candelabra for the centre of the bridal table, and pale pink napkins to tie in with the flowers and bridesmaid dresses.

Photographer

We used photographer Jo Hastings on the day, we were drawn to her light and relaxed images. She really did capture our day perfectly and we would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Food

Iscoyd Park use The Fine Dining Company based in Cheshire to provide catering for all their events. So the decision was made for us but the food was perfect. We started with canapés outside in the garden then a sit down meal in the marquee.  To start we had Sharing boards and then Hay smoked chateaubriand with chunky chips and salad. Dessert was chocolate brownie, which came with lots of toppings.  In the evening we had Mexican food, burritos and nachos. One of the waiters asked why I hadn't had any, I was far too full. But at the end of the evening we found some waiting in our room for us which was a lovely touch. My mum made our wedding cake for us and it was the first she had ever done. I wanted a simple white cake decorated with flowers.

Entertainment

We chose The Big Beat from Wrexham for our entertainment, They were recommended to us by a friend. They played a range of real crowd pleasers that got everyone up on the dance floor. They also provided the DJ service.
