The Designer Wedding Show has already been covered Ad Infinitum on other blogs… so we thought we would keep it cool and simple and very Rock My Wedding with a little film of our day at the DWS

Although we wrote these back in October the exhibitors haven’t changed much and we still love our favourites mentioned there.

*(The start of the film kicks off with a little look inside our Net-A-Porter goodie bags from their Bridal launch the night before which we wrote about last week in case any of you are wondering what was in those big black bags Charlotte was weighed down by on her way out!)

We had a great time at the DWS and it remains my favourite wedding show. The whole thing was quite a pleasant surprise for Charlotte as her only experience of wedding shows was her day at the National Wedding Shows in Birmingham – traumatic by all accounts! The DWS provides a much more laid back and stylish environment for you to feel like the glamorous Bride although Friday is a quieter day as it’s mostly press and wedding insiders…

New friends of Rock My Wedding

We managed to catch up with so many people we hadn’t met before so here’s a big Rock My Wedding Shout out to all the lovely new friends we have made during our blogging adventures – RMW loves you all

We finally caught up with Abbey from Sugalily and are looking forward to bringing you more of her work sometime soon!

Had a lovely sit down with Kat from Rock’n'Roll Bride who was there with her Photographer friend David NcNeil who’s website I just checked out and loved! – Go sneak a peek or read Kat’s DWS report here (including some pics of Charlotte!)

We were also pretty pleased to hear that Ken Buist has been reading the blog and even said he had us book marked – with his own engagement meaning wedding planning is going to get the better of him now! Congratulations Ken and we look forward to featuring your work!

Others featured in the film include: Purita Hyam Chocolate wedding cakes, (Mmmmmm – how lush do they look?!) stunning floral displays from Babington House (seen in the shot with the sofa set up – love the relaxed wedding vibe going on there), TwoBirds Bridesmaid seen on both their stand and in the Champagne bar fashion show and the Utterly Sexy Cafe stand.

And the fashion I loved the most? once again Temperley. Although the website black and white images really don’t do the dresses justice, (as you can see in the film) they are simply stunning and sparkle and shimmer whilst remaining cool, modern and a little bit vintage… PLEASE somebody buy one, rock it and send the pictures to Rock My Wedding!!
