RMW Rates – A Bit Of Patriotism.

I don’t think anyone will have been able to escape the news that a certain famous lady (you’ll have seen her on coins… Stamps… TV… Places like that) is celebrating a rather special anniversary this year.

Hurrah!… we get an extra bank holiday! And we get an excuse to indulge in some BARGAIN Rule Britannia-esque home furnishings.

If you want to add a bit of UK kitsch to your living room in time for the Diamond Jubilee then take a peek below.

I spotted these funky and massively bargain cushions in a place where you may not expect to find such soft furnishing treasures… They come in two sizes and retail for a miniscule £5.93 and £7.93. It seemed rude not to buy one of each and they now sit proudly upon my sofa. If you look closely there is a clue to where these beauties came from.

Did you manage to read that label? Tesco did good. Although it looks as though you can’t actually buy them online. I got mine in store only yesterday so it may be worth a little trip out.

I have added a splash of colour to an otherwise browner than brown room with change from £13.00

Result.

Adam.

I LOVE these cushions! I’m not sure how but I managed to sneak two into our trolley during our last weekly shop. Future hubbys face was a picture when we reached the check out and they “suddenly appeared” he just shook his head and produced the debit card!
I can’t wait for our Jubilee BBQ, I’m just praying that this gorgeous weather lasts until then…
