RMW Rates – Awesome Cards.

Mr O’Shea and I are not huge romantic gesture types. Nothing wrong if you are of course – each to their own and all that.

However, we both love a good card – as in greetings/kooky/celebration cards and always make the effort to find something amusing/silly/significant for each other on special occasions.

And so, when I spotted RMW Naomi’s anniversary card from Gavin a few weeks ago I just knew I had to share it with THE WORLD.

I mean really – it made me laugh, shed a tear…..do a little happy dance and everything.

So if your day is a wee bit blue and you are missing your boy/girl then text/email them a line from this pretty paper and share in the comments box below…..or maybe make up your very own version ;-)

Awww this is so lovely :-) xx

  2. As a bit of a word-smith (or so I like to think) I LOVE cards with quirky phrases / quotes / wording instead of the soppy bear images (not that there isn’t a time and a place for that of course)!! This one definitely made me smile, particularly the ‘fox in my trot’….genius! xx

  3. Kitty says:

    How about…

You’re the ding in my dong

    (That one sounds naughty…pretty naughty ;-) )

We have postcards, post it notes and cards galore from our 6 (so far) years together. I love a little postcard just to say hello, i love you, i miss you, see you later……….

I framed 3 of my faves last year and gave it to Mr. J as a b’day present, it currently stands on our dressing table!!

After reading this I text him……….

You are the marmite to my toast x

He rang me and didnt mention my randomness…….

Me: did you get my text?
    Mr J:The marmite one?
    Me: yes?
Mr J: oh your the ham to my tomato!!

    *Lots of laughing*

And thats why I love him, i can be totally obscure and he doesnt bat an eyelid!

I love cards, paperchase are my favorite!
We always get each other little cards for no reason too, I keep them all in a box and look back on them from time to time. The early ones are sooooo cute!

    Happy times xx

I completely agree! The bright side and waldo pancake are my faces for making my randomness feel acceptable. For V day I sent the boy a card that said, ‘stop being so good looking. I can’t get anything done!’ in the front! Needless to say it got a few giggles!!

I don’t know why but I really feel there’s something so magical about post, except bills…bills are the devil’s work!

The card my husband hid under the pillow the night before my wedding makes me cry every time I read it. And that is quite often. It is just so thoughtful and lovely! My favourite bit is that he knew I was so worried about my dress not being perfect (many alterations were needed in the 3 weeks before) that he made sure to put not to let anyone else think I was going to look anything less than perfect to him! Arhhh crying a bit writing this as had to go read again! Will treasure forever!

Fabulous! I want to buy one too – please tell me where it’s from (and hope you’re on commission!)

Just read this (catching up on my RMW fix after a week away!) – & have sent it on with the additional line “You are the prawn in my cracker” (We eat chinese food wayyy too often!) Loved it! xx

    Thanks
