If you do not want to see many items of holiday perfection that are perhaps prohibitively expensive stop reading this post RIGHT NOW.
I will not be held responsible for the assault this selection of fancy may have on your overdraft.
You see we have a “Lady Luxe” section and generally we don’t use it ……much.
But whilst I was busy researching my last two high street pack-it-now ‘Moon articles I may have accidently had a little peaky over at Net A Porter
I know I know I am a naughty blogger…..but it is jam packed with such beautiful clothes!
On a serious note though we took heed of what you gorgeous lot asked for and we hope we can furnish you with not only a few key pieces for your holidays but also some ideas for “guest at a friend’s wedding”.
And sometimes one pricey item if you truly LOVE it is better value than a few “I’ll wear it once then probably go off it” throw aways.
Happy Shopping Lovelies.

Great post Charlotte. Love them all, esp. the coral ‘McQueen’. My bank balance won’t! But I do agree, to ‘love’ is better value than, ‘it’ll do’. Unfortuantely, just not in the same month we are paying the final installment on the wedding and the honeymoon! Boo! But perhaps as a little pick me up from the post wedding and honeymoon blues…any excuse!!
I have the t-bags one for my honeymoon! It’s bad I’ve had at least one thing from every fashion post you have done Charlotte I think I have a problem! Great minds think alike must be a brummie thing! I love the rest, but cannot buy anymore things with 4 weeks to go! Having said that hubby and I will have a day in London before we catch our flight to Kenya, I can hear selfridges calling me already!xx
Linsey – I am feeling a DEFINITE cure for post wedding day blues. A cute dress is the perfect remedy
JessC – oooh love that frock! and you don’t have a problem…..just great taste! ha ha!

I’m loving the Diane Von Furstenberg dress! Such a lot of pretty in this post!
(ps. Charlotte and Rebecca, I’ve been meaning to send an email to say thanks for my lovely MAC nail polish, I love it! I’m terrible at sending emails, so figured I’d kill two birds with one stone in here!)
Scary, scary stuff – I have one item from each of the picture lines above. I’m biased, clearly, but great choices! Looking forward to some pretty pieces in due course. Thanks ladies, you rock!
Lauren – pleasure Pet, glad you liked it
Sarah B – you can’t just say that and not tell us which ones?! Which ones!!!

I had a bit of a splurge – the shades of blue Chloe dress, the grey Helmut Lang one, the HK bikini and the McQueen frock which I adore! I figured I ought to look pretty whilst investigating lots of pretty things for our wedding and my company got a bit of a tax windfall so it felt like free money… It would have been rude not to!
Oh My God Sarah B you are my fashion Guru. What a fabulous honeymoon wardrobe!

Thankfully, my fiancé still falls for the ‘What? This old thing?’ line! I can’t wait to see all of the other goodies you’ve chosen for us. I always love how you show a a variety of different looks – whether weddings or just summer frocks, something for everyone. Keep up the excellent work, ladies! x
The Coral McQueen dress is my favourite on the list of dresses I will probably never get to own.
Is it reeeeally wrong that I like the high street pieces better?!! I obviously have unsophisticated tastes!!
Hi Anita – no not at all! I was wondering if someone would make that comment actually.
I in fact ordered some really fancy bikinis the other day and actually they didn’t fit as well as my £12 one from Warehouse I bought last year.
I think it’s just how much you love that particular “item” and how good it makes you feel. All the better if it was a bargain

I had a dreadful night’s sleep last night. Whilst awake in the early hours, I got thinking about this blog. Do you know an article I’d love to see? How to wear red lipstick! So many shade out there and I know it depends on your skin and teeth tone but beyond that I’m useless! How can you tell if it has blue tones? Any tips? Please, please, please!
