Another day, another beautiful Spanish wedding. This stylish wedding comes from the fabulous and vibrant city of Barcelona - at the Palo Alto Market which looks like a great industrial space to hold a big party. Silvia and Alex have styled the space beautifully too, with strings of festoon lights and gorgeous table runners created from metres and metres of pretty flowers and botanicals. The whole look is perfect for the space and makes their wedding day feel young, stylish and contemporary. The party looks wild too - with Silvia changing up her look with a pair of shorts so that she could really get down with all of the guests. It's actually a great example of how versatile separates can be. Her outfit by Marta Marti is a lace body suit, with a silk slip overlay - this was easily removed later to combine the lace body suit with the silk shorts. Genius. And teamed with a pair of sky high Jimmy Choos? Silvia definitely added some sexy to her bridal look. So much so, that Groom Alex's favourite moment of the day, and I quote, 'was watching a super-sexy woman walking towards me and knowing she was about to become my wife.' Awwww!!! These two are so passionate and so in love, and it really comes across in these images from Sara Frost. Oh and I almost forgot! There's mini pompom confetti in a rainbow of colours. It's awesome and I want some.

The Venue

Silvia The Bride: We met working together in Granollers Hospital operating room! We chose Palo Alto in Barcelona to host our wedding. We held everything there. We love Barcelona, it’s contrasts, and among them this special place that a couple of years ago was unknown. Being able to celebrate our wedding in a former factory, where now are located the best architecture studios of the city. Combining it’s essence with the gardens that now surround it, in the middle of skyscrapers and modern buildings, it’s like being in an oasis. Feeling urbanite and natural at the same time.

The Bride

The dress designer is Marta Marti, a Bcn based atelier. Silvia had already an idea in mind and she worked it along with the designer. She wanted to be modern, sexy, rock and roll but feeling comfortable at the same time. The dress is a combination of a body and silk skirt. For the party she reused the same body but with shorts instead of the skirt. Alex searched for the perfect diamond and had it mounted like Tiffany setting. Earrings were Silvia’s Grandmother. Headpiece was by Gloria Velázquez.

The Groom

Everything was acquired in Nino Alvarez, very well assisted by Xavi. Suit was by Canali, tie from Altea.

The Decor

There was no theme, we just wanted an epic party fuera un fieston inolvidable! Details for guests included wicker hats and fans with our logo, and masks and sparklers for the dancing!

Special Moments

Alex: Watching a supersexy woman walking towards me and knowing she was about to become my wife. Speechless... Readings by our friends were so emotional. The song 'At Last' by Etta James that our friend Esther sang to us right after getting married. Our entrance to the reception with our favourite song, the one that wakes us every morning, with everybody dancing along. How we managed to have a dancing competition between banquet tables, having to choose which one were best dancers. Our first dance that merged into a collective dance among all guests.
