This cute-as-a-button Big Day submitted by the very talented David Jenkins literally made me smile all day…right from ear to ear. Not only is everything SUPER pretty but everyone just looks so darn happy, like they are literally having the time of their lives.
Alison and Tom were married In August 2009 in their village church followed by a reception in the family back garden…..We do so love keeping the love local here at Rock My Wedding.
We don’t have any brides details unfortunately but we do have a whole heap of delicious images that are sure to make you gorgeous lot smile too.
If you have any questions on any of the details/fashion do drop us a comment as the bride will hopefully be able to answer them on return from holiday….
I mean really how much am I in love with the brides dress? And the coral shoes? And the feather head piece? And the fact that she just looks so happy and in love…..
Divine.
Absolutely divine.
And being a lover of all things retro I can’t help but be all a bit “ahhh gorgeous” over the cola bottle and the car complete with “Just Married” and trailing cans…..
Are you smiling yet folks?
Does it make you look forward to your own Big Day?
Because you should – and you should spend that day smiling too. ALL DAY.
And it will be because you really really mean it.
With a BIG THANKS to the lovely David Jenkins
Big “I want some coral shoes” Love

Loooovvveee the bride’s shoes!!!
Beautiful muted colours…really pretty. Also love the old suitcase for the cards…might just have to steal that idea for our day! xx
ps where are the shoes from – I need some!
I might have to steal the suitcase idea too! Love the photography, especially the ones in the car x
Oh my god that’s what I’m doing for my cards! Got an old vintage suitcase made by my great-grandad. Everything I think of keeps popping up on here, I need to start getting some new ideas!! Better not let my H2B see the Smiths table name or that will be our new theme – we’re already having Gladiolis in the church because they’re Morrissey’s signature flower…
Love this wedding, it’s exactly the kind of happy, beautiful day I want for mine. Keep the pretty coming ladies! xx
Oh my, I LOVE this wedding, so darn pretty.
I have to know what lipstick the bride is wearing pretty please, it’s such a gorgeous coral colour…..
And is that the very same feather hair clip that I’ve recently bought from Urban Outfitters for a bargainous £10?! I hope so as it’s absolutely gorgeous on Alison.

Oh and I have a question for the bride – what reading did she get her little flower girls to do? Glad to see someone else is having three!! Thanks xx
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her dress and colour shoe combo!!! Where is the brides dress from? It’s very similar to the dress I will be wearing – except my shoes will be red! Sooooo good to see a bride rocking the short look
Thanks RMW x
What a beautiful wedding – so vintage, so timeless – very inspirational (loving the cola bottle nostalgia) xx
She’s ever so pretty! What a beautiful wedding and you’re right, so many smiles!
I’m Tom’s Mum and I must add that it was a privilege and great fun putting on this 50′s style wedding with the reception in my garden. All the families were hands on and helped to make it the perfect day. It was a real family affair.
PS.A good tip is to pick your own flowers and get the nephews & nieces to help design the wedding signage.
You’re right ladies I did smile all the way through that stunning wedding!
What a gorgeous bride! x
I love the shoes… but the photo that really made me smaile is the one with the children drinking fruit shoots!
What a lovely comment from Tom’s Mum! I wasn’t at the wedding but it looked fantastic.Lovely smiles all round.
Lovely pics capturing a happy day! I LOVE the suitcase idea
Am now on battered suitcase hunt. Just one more fabby idea from RMW..thanks girls x
Possibly my favourite wedding so far-so many beautiful pictures!x
There is some really lovely vibrant colour in the photography.
The details are adorable and they all look so happy which is of course how you should look and feel on your wedding but doesn’t always come across. Lovely lovely photos.
My favourite wedding so far too! More please! xx
The Bride has the most gorgeous smile – wedding looks wonderful
