It’s nearly here. Next week will see the launch of the Love Lust List, finally, for all of you lovely lot to get your manicured bridal mitts on!
We’ve been talking about it for a (very) long time, (we know!) but the reason for that has been becasue we had to get it absolutely right. Adam won’t mind me telling you there have been a few feature changes and the odd design overhaul to ensure that it’s spot on. And it is, it’s totally Rock My Wedding.
And sometimes, going back to the drawing board creates the best results. In fact one of the little secrets we’ll be unveiling on Monday is the mobile browsing capability we have built into the site. So now, instead of staring at a computer screen when you’re at home with your beloved… (Oh, who are we kidding, we all know you’re reading this at work!) you can browse our hand picked suppliers quickly and easily en route to your hot date, in the supermarket queue, boring meetings, waiting for the bus… anywhere you like!
And you know what, it has been hard work. The whole point of the list was to find some of the best, the most creative, most innovative and friendly professionals around the UK. So that we could share that knowledge with you and really give you the ability to totally rock your wedding, and save you a little bit of the leg work of course.
Because of that, it’s been really really difficult finding people that fit the brief. Certain sectors and regions really haven’t caught onto the internet revolution and for that reason you won’t find a complete and fully populated list on Monday. We could have made it fuller, but we wouldn’t have been able to truly vouch for and stand behind the people within it. And then what would have been the point of a so-called Love Lust List? We don’t do compromise.
On Monday you get to see the real thing, brand spanking new and shiny, complete with our launch members. We’re going to need you guys to spread the word. Tell everyone you know to look at it, use it for your wedding needs and if you found your suppliers else where, tell them about it too.

Looking forward to SOUTH WEST region I’m getting married in Somerset (Wick Farm, Bath: Beautiful Venue) I’m from Wiltshire and born in Devon… ‘ooh arr’ (live in Cardiff now though with my welsh boy) Although I bet the South West wasnt quite as ‘on’ to it?!?
whish it had been ready last year before i booked alot of my suppliers! Anyway, hopefully it will help all future brides to avoid some if the mistakes i made! cant wait to see if anyone ive booked is actually on it! xxx

My name is Kirsty and im a RNW addict……infact I now consider it part of my working day! This sounds fab, have been looking for suppliers, and im always worried something will go wrong or they wont be any good. This certainly will give me more confidence in them.
Though Lincolnshire seems to be one of those places were the internet is a modern fanged dangle thing that has not caught on in not just the wedding world but life in genral, so look forward to seeing if there is any suppliers from here!
P.S The other half already gives me grief over the use of facebook on my phone and now RMW gosh I think he’ll be rationing the use of my phone!

I really hope Northern Ireland has a few suppliers on the list! I am intrigued to see if there is anything remotely my style because any wedding I have been to at home have been so, ummm, generic?!?! No offence to any of my friends!!!
Just bog standard, straight off a factory line, no real thought or styling, hassle free, formal photography, 3 course meal with icky vegetable soup and predictable pavlova in a hotel with dodgy carpets, with DJdullandlackingpersonality CLEARING the dance floor with Abba hits!
NOT MY STYLE AT ALL. I can’t wait for a peek at the LoveLustList! Hopefully it will calm my fears of having to conform to the norm! It may be my only hope – no pressure then! Hahaha!

p.s. Just to clear up the food matter – I do like vegetable soup and pavlova! Especially my nan’s! Nothing wrong with them at all. But I jest not when i say that every wedding I have been to, both have been on the menu. Sometimes it would be nice to see something different…

Even though my wedding is only 12 weeks away, and is taking place in California, I cannot wait to spy on new vendors, I love looking at pretty weddings, so much so my partner is worried when I’ll want to renew the vows.
