I hope that if any of you gorgeous lot are worrying about ANYTHING to do with W-day that this affair will put your mind at ease.
Daisy and Richard had “everything they wanted” at their wedding and it shows….
So much love.
Country Blooms
Because I wanted a country garden feel to my flowers I wouldn’t be able to name all the blooms used. I know the florist Sheila Dewey used sweet smelling flowers like sweet pea and freesia so it smelt beautiful too. The button holes and table centres were all loosely tied using the same flowers. We placed the table centres in small vintage vases.
Idyllic Vintage
I hired vintage EVERYTHING from a company called Idyllic Days, side plates, salt and pepper pots, vases etc. I also had my table plan put on a vintage guilt mirror.
Breathtaking Photography
We chose Binky Nixon Photography, she had shot Richards’s cousins photographs and they were absolutely breath taking.

Back Garden Chic
We were married at the Church of St Mary Magdalene in Westoning Bedfordshire in May 2009. Our reception was held in Richards’s parents’ garden, also in Westoning.
Family Baking
For the cake my Ma; Richards Ma; my Grandma and my Nana all made a tier each, they were two fruit; carrot and a coconut sponge. A family friend royal iced it beautifully for us; and we had fresh flowers cascading down it.
Mowtown Classics
The brilliant Sid Hudson DJ’d for us…we have been to his Motown tribute nights and he never fails to get people up on the floor and keep them there, he didn’t disappoint!
We chose ‘Baby I Need Your Lovin’ by The Four Tops for our first dance, we just loved the words.
Some Kind Of Wonderful
Our wedding was unique because we didn’t follow any trends, we just had everything we wanted and that’s what made it so wonderful for us.

And it so was wonderful for them – you can tell just by how happy everyone is.
With a big thanks to Daisy and Richard for sharing their Big Day with Rock My Wedding and Binky Nixon for submitting the images. Binky rocks.
Big Easy Breezy Love

Man…. this day looks like it was so much fun. Absolutely LOVE that Daisy doens’t know what was in her bouquet and didn’t have a colour scheme – how refreshing! And she and her husband are both super gorgeous. And all wedding days should have a whoop whoop in there somewhere! This has made my Friday!x
One of my favourite weddings so far! I love the brides whole look and the bridesmaids and the flowers are just beautiful!
Absolutely stunning. Enough said!
Daisy is really beautiful. I imagine Binky loved taking every one of those shots.
Stunning and those flowers are beautiful!! Love the whole wedding vibe!
Wowee, what a beautiful day this looks like, inside and out
xoxo
Whoop whoop!
My favorite part of this wedding is the bride’s hair…it’s so casual and you can tell it’s distinctively her. I admire an au natural bride that can throw her hair up and stick a few flowers in and call it a day!
Really beautiful day!
Ohh felt a bit wobbly looking through these piccys…they are sooo lovely and in all, show so much love. Total gorgeousness. Bride is beautiful and totally rocking the fringe look (good, I will be too..fringes seem to be sorely lacking in all wedding hair pics I’ve seen?!)Everyone looks so happy which is how it is meant to be after all (reminding self)…
I LOVE the picture of the bride and groom’s feet walking away from camera..really made me smile. Lovely!
wow weeeee what a beautiful wedding and gorgeous photography
x
Looooove the flowers, so fresh and pretty. Everyone looks so happy, a lovely day.
I love the flowers. The colors are so bright and vibrant.
Utterly stunning. If my day is this fun and gorgeous, i’ll be over the moon. Does anyone know where the bride’s dress is from? Thanks
