Sophie & Colin

This quirky Scottish wedding literally screams our ethos Your Day Your Way and we absolutely LOVE it.

With the gorgeous couple turning their home into their reception venue and having the ultimate house party. Decorating it with more than a few amusing DIY signs, a gin bar and leading guests from the pub lunch wedding breakfast to their party central with a fabulous brass band procession through the city streets.

Sophie & Colin look so relaxed and at ease with their guests and each other, and are literally having the time of their lives. This is one epic party I would have loved to have been at. Rock My Wedding faves Tub of Jelly have captured every essence of this couples personality not to mention all the delicious decor. You just HAVE TO check out the video below too, it’ll put you in a good move for weeks.

Adding to the uniqueness of this intimate wedding is Sophie’s gorgeous Zimmerman gown. She looks like an absolute siren with it fitting in all the right places. You would not believe it only cost a mere £100! And not to be forgotten groom Colin who also sports a dashing red Slaters waistcoat that POPS under his Harris Tweed jacket fabulously.

Shall we take a look? Guaranteed you’ll be beaming from ear to ear, and giggling at all their signage.

Becca & Sam

Sam & Becca’s wedding is raw, elemental and utterly utterly beautiful. The pair choose to elope to the Isle of Skye from their native New York albeit with a few friends and family too and say their vows against the wild backdrop of a windswept island.

I am in love with all of it.

Becca’s wise words below really resonate with me – she says of the decision to elope to Skye…’we truly felt like we began our marriage by making a declaration not only with our vows, but also with our actions…and going someplace new made us feel like we were starting off our marriage with a tangible representation of that….’ and I totally get that.

I think it’s oh so easy to forget (myself included) amongst the million decisions about decor and flowers and food that actually the most important thing is the love between you and your partner and your declaration of your commitment to each other. And really, as you’ll see in the photos below captured so wonderfully by Tub of Jelly, that’s all you need.

Kat & Graham

We’ve got an absolutely stunning outdoor wedding for you this afternoon, set in the beautiful grounds of Errol Park in Scotland and captured by Rock My Wedding faves Tub of Jelly in their dreamy, sultry style.

My absolute favourite portrait has to be the one of our gorgeous Bride in her exquisite Tuberose Jenny Packham embellished gown, holding her delicate pink bouquet in the picturesque gardens surrounded by fallen blossom. Such a magical moment.

Infact I adore all the subtle pink hints. The spray roses in Kat’s hair, the handpicked wild flowers at the converted barn reception and those beaut. Mango bridesmaid dresses.

With so many more beautiful details and inspiring ideas to marvel at; come see….

Katie & Peter

We’ve got possibly the most perfect wedding for you to finish the week on this morning. Honestly folks it’s a corker from Love Lust List member Tub Of Jelly Photography who incidentally also doubled up as the videographer for Katie and Pete when they married at The Dead Dolls Club in London last year.

Katie wore a super glitzy, gold and silver sequin frock for her big day and totally OWNED it. She paired it up with a beautiful floral crown and a bevy of maids in white. Hubby Pete scrubbed up well too with a navy suit from Reiss accompanied by the rest of his boys in blue against a backdrop of confetti filled balloons and the sweetest flower girls and page boys.

If you’ve got a few spare minutes then I implore you to watch the video of this achingly hip duo because it totally captures the essence of the day and is as Katie says for them at least ‘by miles the most valuable part of the wedding (spends) especially in this digital age’.

Homemade.

We have for you an absolutely perfect DIY wedding at Sam our Sam’s parent’s home in Banchory, Aberdeen. They built a marquee on their beautiful land & ceilidh danced until the wee hours of the morning.

Featuring a homemade cake, homemade decorations, homemade stationery… Even the groom and his best man served their own home-brews. There was a BBQ feast followed by strawberries. Rain interfered with proceedings somewhat but then made way for a terrific rainbow.
