These two are just too cute not to feature – I mean just look how in happy and in love they are!!!
Engagement shoots are something which have really come into their own – many photographers now offer you the opportunity to get comfortable in front of their camera before the big day.
And it’s the perfect excuse to get even more fabulous images of you and your partner. This shoot is particularly spectacular because of the stunning Swiss Alps backdrop!!
Taisa The Bride: ‘Taisa, darling, I have made a really important decision. Will you be my wife?’
We had just signed the papers for our new house, I was sitting on the only chair we had brought inside and there he was – down on one knee with a homemade tiffany’s ring box. I couldn’t be happier!!
Lucia The Photographer: When in late September Laura, Athos and Taisa’s wedding planner contacted me for an ‘engagement session’ I could not be happier. I already knew the gorgeous couple as Ticino is a really small region. I was therefore confident that I could catch their perfect synergy through delicate images. The timing couldn’t have been more favourable, when we first talked to each other about their engagement session we immediately decided to give an Autumn touch to our shooting, opting to shoot at the beginning of October above the Val Verzasca valley in Ticino, where the mountains, nature and quiet reign supreme. Luckily the weather was on our side: I am a great admirer of cloudy skies, because they bestow a perfectly diffused light, emphasizing the delicacy of such a moment and the autumnal tones we were looking for.
During the shoot, Taisa and Athos’ complicity was such that I hardly needed to give them any directives, their unassuming compatibility blended ever so well with the natural landscape.
