Goodness it’s been a mighty ol’ while since I have done one of these posts, I feel I have so much to share – especially in terms of what’s hot in the shops!
In fact I have so much I’m going to do my best to create a pretty list and as many images as I can muster…..
Girly Dresses
Now you may or may not know but as much as I love looking at and can often be found admiring a super cute dress I don’t really wear them.
Why?
Because I feel a bit of a pilok in a frock to be honest.
I am very much “me” in a pair of jeans, a funky T-shirt and a blazer and that’s how I feel most comfortable, the amount of dresses I have purchased and ended up not wearing/taking back is verging on the completely ridiculous.
Until I met Rebecca that is.
Rebecca is very much a girly girl, all skirts and Mary Jane shoes and frilly bits…. looks fancy schmancy without even trying and actually made me want to invest in a few more permanent lovely-lady-like wardrobe items.
So I have.

When I first saw the Meadow Jersey Dress on the hanger I was a bit “Oh looks a bit….dull?” but let me tell you it is anything but – slinky, ULTRA flattering, bust enhancing and thrown on with a pair of black tights, killer heels and a long cardigan you can do that whole winter floral fashionista/sexy librarian thing.
The Sahara Stripe Dress was my “work” purchase, again looks great with black tights ( Am a big fan of Wolford Matt effect and more recently Topshop 120 denier – genius legwear at only £8), majorly comfortable and has great swishiness…. ( No clue if that is a word but I kind of like it)
See I can do a bit of a frill, even if it is only a sleeve
The T-Time Dress is a bargain at £35 and as well as black comes in a delicious plum and prom pink….colour me beautiful.

I just want you all to know that without you none of this would be happening and we sincerely appreciate it – your commitment, enjoyment and feedback to our little piece of pretty in the blogsphere.
And we certainly don’t take any of it for granted. We are constantly striving to bring you innovative content and make sure Rock My Wedding is somewhere you want to visit often.
Here is a little postcard we made to hand out at the recent London shows – video coming up tomorrow!:

The Big 3 -0
Yep that’s right folks in the not too distant future I will be turning 30. And I won’t lie – I have been pretty fed up with the whole thing for a good few months now.
But do you know what?
To hell with it – I am going to celebrate turning 30 years YOUNG and in true O’Shea style am throwing a last minute birthday party complete with live band, D.I.Y photo booth and a full on “Cool Britannia” theme.
I actually took inspiration for my birthday bash from a Rock My Wedding mood board would you believe:

Have a look at the entire post here if you fancy something similar for your rehearsal dinner/engagement party/any bl*ody excuse to have a good time.
Next to consider of course for such a significant coming of age is what I actually want as a gift, not necessarily from anyone else either. Maybe just a treat to myself from myself…. why not.
Happy Birthday me.
And on the wish list?
Well I have to say I am having somewhat of a Lady Luxe moment folks:

The Datya leather jacket from All Saints, tried it on in the Birmingham store… BIG MISTAKE.
Because now I am in love with it.
Crystal Snowflake earrings by Erickson Beamon are simply to-die-for beautiful. If you are a winter bride – heck ANY bride please please consider these beauties.
The over-sized Alexa bag by Mulberry. No I could never be as cool as Madam Cheung and frankly the waiting list is apparently as long as the nile but still – I wouldn’t mind a piece of her arm candy.
Valentines Day
I hope everyone had a great one and enjoyed our “Get Sexy” week.
I received a card from my husband that simply said “You Rock My World” on the front.
He in return got one that just read “I Love You”

Sometimes you don’t need to say a lot to mean a lot.
Big Wifey Love

I have to say you have impeccable taste in absolutely everything Charlotte! I love these reports (although my bank balance does not!) however I shall be getting myself to an FCUK store pronto to by one of those (or maybe all 3) very pretty dresses!
What a great post. You seem in a very jolly mood today!
I can’t believe you ordered the jacket. I suppose it will turn up in a video post or too shortly.
Enjoy and Happy Birthday for when it arrives x
Love the earrings, I may just HAVE to indulge in them for my christmas wedding, they are perfect x
Ok so may have just strayed on to the All Saints website and ordered…a t shirt and some jeans…Charlotte you are a bad influence!
x
I too will be 30 in a couple of weeks, bring it on! I was looking forward to it anyway, but now you’ve brought up the VERY good point I can buy myself a present for turning 30, even more so! Big, birthday love! x
Just been mooching in Fenwick’s at lunchtime (and maybe treated myself to a few purchases from the Bobbi Brown new Coral range!) and they’ve got THE bag in stock….I got it down, tried it on so to speak and it’s every bit as gorgeous as it looks on the Mulberry website. Sensibility kicked in (after about 10 mins) and back on the shelf it went but for any of you lusting after one, just to let you know they’ve got them in stock in Fenwicks xxx
