Yes, that would be exactly the type of wedding video I think we would all like to avoid! lol!

I really hope one of our wedding submissions one day comes in with a Reel60 film attached to it – would be soooo cool!

Hmm, you’re right Charlotte. One that sticks in my mind is my cousins and his wife, being a somewhat control freak (bridezilla is not a strong enough word) she invited a few of us for a post wedding viewing of their video, nothing wrong in that of course, I’ve seen a few in my years. Except that we had to sit and watch it in deadly silence so we could here every word of the ceremony (erm.. we were there?!) and then she did a manic “shhhshshsh!!” when we thought we could chat whilst their first dance was showing so we could see her husband mouth the words “I love you” to her. In fact I think she rewound it so we could see it again. Oh, and she included video footage in the final edit of them having their photos taken which again, funnily enough, we had seen first time round as we all stood around for hours without a single drink or canape!

Ah, I feel better now!

I have to say Contra this video was a great find – Love her outfit!.

We had a video Ladies – so glad we did, you are totally right though, I wouldn’t have fancied a typical “traditional” number – I’ve seen some and they can be really cringe worthy….

I am loving this video! We (particularly Mr Glo) didn’t want a video but so many people have said that it was the best thing that they ever did/biggest regret not getting one….

Hmmmmm, time to talk Mr Glo into thinking it was his idea me thinks…..

What a coincidence, I was only checking out these guys yesterday in my incessant videographer research (ie typing “unique wedding videography” in to google for the upeenth time!). I really fancy this as I can’t stand the thought of cooing over myself on a traditional video.

I have been mulling over if to have a video at my wedding and all the advise I have been given is to have one, my best friend got married recently and that was her only regret that she didnt. I love the super 8 style as the thought of sitting through hours of cheesy footage was one of the things that was putting me off, it looks so stylish and fun xx
