Inspiration

Sharing inspiration shoots with you all is always fun, but this one is extra special. Firstly because it's really colourful and full of gorgeous blooms, secondly because it's been planned and styled by the wonderful Italian Eye team, but also because it was shot by our very own Adam. He was lucky enough to attend a fabulous workshop with the Italian Eye team and a whole host of lovely UK based wedding suppliers, and so the results of the shoot are a glorious mash up of British and Italian ideas, but with that extra dimension of fun that comes from enjoying time together doing creative things in the sunshine, fuelled by good food and wine of course ;) The Italian Eye team plan and style some seriously beautiful weddings at the most incredible locations, one of those being the stunning Borgo Sant'Ambrogio, an historic Tuscan estate nestled in a nature reserve. It's breathtakingly beautiful and the ultimate luxury venue for your destination wedding. If you're planning on getting married in Italy, Borgo Sant'Ambrogio and Italian Eye would make a winning combination. It was certainly a fabulous venue for the workshop and for this shoot! But first, these gorgeous images and I promise you'll be lusting after the Belle & Bunty dresses and flowers by The Flower Appreciation Society just as much as you'll be lusting after a trip to Italy... Oh and that Vespa...she belongs to venue Borgo Sant'Ambrogio too, imagine being whisked off into the sunset by your new husband on that. The epitome of romance and the perfect scene for some incredible photos!

The Inspiration

Italian Eye the Planners & Styists: Fun, colour and romance! A mix and match of Tuscan and British vibes is what Italian Eye loves most. Thanks to the second edition of The Kaleidotour we have gathered together some of the best creatives from London and Italy, in Val d'Orcia, right in the Heart of our Tuscany. Colour, colour, colour is the key word of this shoot. A bit in contrast with the classic Tuscan wedding style but completely in harmony with the atmosphere of the beautiful location of Borgo Sant'Ambrogio. A colourful and vintage table setting enriched by the massive flower arrangement from The Flower Appreciation Society, and lightened up by the fruity patterns of Silken Favours, who also made an appearance as our gorgeous bridal model. The wedding cake is another masterpiece by our friend Lily Vanilli who has put together an original design from classic Italian ingredients such as the Pastiglie Leone jellies and fun fresh props from London. Pretty white gowns by Agnese Fazolo were chosen for the flower girls with splashes of pink and yellow satin belts. Brad Weaver Butterflies fly over the girls' heads and a beaded fruit composition becomes the bride's crown. Creations by Clara Francis Jewellery. Rosita Bonita was our bridesmaid model and brought her flowery jewellery for the bride and herself.

The Dresses

Alice & Hannah: The Belle & Bunty looks featured in the Tutti Frutti shoot feature some of our brand new bridal styles for 2016. Mix and match bridal separates and dresses have been styled to echo the rustic feel of the Italian architecture and countryside for romantic and glamorous wedding day inspiration. Delicate details and simple silhouettes perfectly balance proportions, designed to accentuate a woman’s natural shape and beautiful silks, laces and crochet have been used in designs for brides who appreciate simple and elegant detailing and only the best fabrics. The bride's look, styled with bright and colourful fruity Clara Francis beaded headwear, natural make up and simple tousled hair echoes the Belle & Bunty bride's laid back, informal and fun spirit.

The Flowers

Anna at The Flower Appreciation Society: Bright Bouquet contained ranunculus, tulips, roses, peonies, lilac, astrantia, sweet peas, solomon's seal, stocks, clematis, honeysuckle, grasses and nigella. The buttonhole was made from grasses, lavender, ranunculus and mint. The tables were decorated with delphiniums, sweet peas, ranunculus, solomon seal, stocks, lilac, roses, peonies and anenomes.
