There really is nothing I love more than a beautiful bridal look book - I'm all about the dress. The bride should be the star of the show and showcasing bridal wear in a way that truly highlights the detail and shape of the dress is really important. So this latest look book from White Mischief Bridal is right up my street. And not only are the dresses totally swoon worthy, but the whole shoot takes place on the beach. It's utterly beautiful. The light, the simplicity, the elegance, the subtle sexiness, the freedom - I wish we could bottle this atmosphere and sell it to brides-to-be across the land. Images come from Jason Williams, who has truly captured some stunning shots here. Enjoy beauties and if you haven't found your dress yet then perhaps one of these might just be the ONE...
Jason the Photographer: Our vision - challenge the perceived norms. I am a strong believer that just because things “are” it doesn’t mean things should always “be”. I had the chance to shoot some epic bridal dresses for White Mischief Bridal along with my good pal Zara Price. White Mischief were looking for some shots of their new designer dresses for their website and advertising. I simply thought “why not push this in a slightly different direction?” We’ve all seen the quite formulaic look book format for dress shoots and while they do what they set out to, I just felt they can be so much more. The location of Camber Sands, the early morning sun, the dresses, the rising tide and rolling sand dunes all culminated in a shoot which took on a life of it’s own. No set direction. No real plan. Just a team of creatives playing barefoot in the sand. The dresses seen here are the epic Hermia from Jenny Packham, an Anna and a Lena by Augusta Jones, and a simply stunning Jesus Peiro.
