How To Manage Wedding Planning Stress
Planning
"Outdoor lighting for the wedding is the very last thing brides tend to think about, given they are immersed in all the plans up until that point. The main message is that making the wedding look special is much easier than you think and with any budget you can create something very effective! My advice has always been, choose one element and do it really well, rather than diluting your efforts by having lights all over the place. Look at the outdoor space you wish to light, and choose the prettiest feature."
"Create a walkway canopy of lights, using either our outdoor festoons or fairy lights, that gives a big wow factor. Simply daisy chain the lights together (they have male/female connectors attached) and swag between trees/buildings. If required, use our festoon poles which will eliminate the need for anything to attach the lights to. We also sell shepherd’s hooks for lighting pathways when there’s a need for lights at a lower level. Fairy light strings cost less than festoons, and look gentle and pretty, especially in trees."
"The days where one bulb goes out are over. Modern LEDs are bright and reliable without being sharp and cold looking. The way they are manufactured ensures that there doesn’t tend to be an issue with them failing. If a power supply is an issue, we have fairy light strings that can be powered by battery, so really we’ve got everything covered. Outdoor LED lanterns really do make a difference, and we have all types and sizes on offer. Also, solar lights should not be ruled out if you are getting married in a country where the sun is guaranteed."
