As always, this year has flown by in a flurry of beautiful real wedding features, gorgeous inspiration and advice for all of you lovely brides to be. If you're new to RMW, then welcome and trust me when I say this - you're in the right place. We'll guide you through planning your wedding with our handpicked supplier directory, coffee table book brimming with exclusive content and our hilarious but oh-so helpful podcast. So sit back, relax and let's use this deliciously slow time between Christmas and New Year to immerse ourselves in the beautiful world of weddings. Here's the top ten of 2018, according to YOU, our wonderful, stylish and savvy readers...

1. Humanist Wedding At The Scottish Coast

Lauren & Finlay's gorgeous wedding was brimming with foliage, candles and rustic furniture. In fact the brief was 'jurassic park, without the dinosaurs.' There were festoon lights, bridesmaids in cornflower blue dresses, dramatic couple portraits on the clifftops and lots of men in kilts. Which is always a bonus.

2. Tipi Wedding With Blush Pink Details
Blush pink, year on year on year, is always a big feature of weddings. Both here on RMW and in the wider wedding world, this soft and romantic colour is going no where. Kara & Tom's wedding enchanted us all with it's classic colour palette of pink for the girls and blue for the boys. Make sure you check out the flower girls tutus - completely adorable!
3. Marble, Copper & Greenery Details At Cripps Barn
If you're yet to discover the Cripps venues, then allow this wedding to introduce you...Lauren & Dan chose Cripps Barn as their venue and filled the space with glorious marble, copper and greenery details. We feature lots of Cripps wedding here on RMW, because their spaces are just SO stunning, but this one was your favourite of the year!
4. Glamorous French Destination Wedding
It wouldn't be a RMW favourite real wedding round up without a gorgeous destination feature, and Charlotte & Julian's celebrations knocked it out of the park. Stylish, thoughtful and full of hand made details by talented bride Charlotte, this wedding was also laid back, fun and full of good wine - exactly how a wedding should be.
5. Festival Themed Wedding In A Stretch Tent
Pippa & Myles held their two day festival themed wedding in a stunning white stretch tent, which they filled with hanging foliage and Edison bulbs. As you can imagine, the result was beautiful...
6. Fairy Light Canopies And Al Fresco Dining
Kate & Jack's Italian destination wedding went viral because of that stunning fairy light canopy, chic styling and beautiful photography. If you're having a destination wedding, just replicate these three things and you can't go wrong ;) Planning a wedding abroad is a breeze, I promise...and even when it's not, as you can see, it's TOTALLY WORTH IT.
7. Relaxed, Woodland Wedding In Norway
Adelen & Alex's wedding was completely home spun, they brought everything in themselves and essentially just threw a huge party in the woods for their family and friends. Adelen's dress was utterly gorgeous and probably had a little something do to with why this wedding was so popular. She's a total babe - happy and radiant on her wedding day. 8. Rustic Barn Vibes At Nancarrow Farm
A favourite venue of the whole RMW team, Nancarrow Farm weddings are always gorgeous and Katie & Sam's big day was no exception. Apparently these guys hate having their photographs taken, which is a common concern of SO many people. Well just have a look how relaxed and gorgeous they look...chose a good photographer and you don't need to worry, I promise!
9. The Bride Wore Red Cowboy Boots...
Clare & Tom's wedding was clearly an absolute riot, with glamping on site, endless Pimms and Prosecco and a gloriously rustic (and wonky) wedding cake. Underneath her gorgeous gown, Clare wore red cowboy boots which we just love her for. Stylish yet practical and let's face it, looking a bit country is always a good idea. 10. Fairy Lights & Candles At The East Quay
I'm surprised we got to number 10 without a huge pile of doughnuts, but worry not, Hannah & Henry's wedding day has more than enough for all of us. They married at beautiful coastal venue, East Quay, and filled the space with bohemian decor, shell details and endless magical lighting.
A huge thank you to every single photographer whose work we have featured this year; RMW would be nothing without the incredible real wedding features we get to share. If you'd like to be featured, and possibly even make the top ten weddings of 2019, then please ask your photographer to submit your wedding using our online submissions platform!
