Inspiration

There isn't one image of Bride Emma where she isn't absolutely radiating with happiness and beauty. Completely owning her 1920s wedding dress, red lipstick and short hair bridal look and definitely channelling Daisy Buchanan from The Great Gatsby. There are plenty of beautiful blooms to feast your eyes upon too, from extensive floral table runner centrepieces to beautifully tied bouquets with ribbons. All taking place at the glamourous Garthmyl Hall in Shropshire.

What Made Our Day Unique

It was just the most incredible day in the dreamiest venue with our closest friends and family. A colour palette of blush pink and red really made for a dramatic twist on the stunning pink ballroom at Garthmyl Hall, with the most beautiful floral runners on banquet tables with gothic candles amongst them. We sipped Pimms post ceremony in the walled garden in the blazing sunshine whilst a string quartet played in the background, it was just beyond perfect.

1920s Wedding Dress

Doesn't bride Emma look absolutely striking in her Eliza Jane Howell 1920s wedding dress?! The beadwork is truly exquisite and her short hair shows off the low back detail beautifully. I love that she's gone for a bold red lipstick too, complementing the red rose wedding flowers perfectly. Pure happiness radiates across her face the whole time, as it will yours whilst you swoon over every image by Petal & Blush Artistry including the adorable confetti moment using recommend supplier, Shropshire Petals.

Inspiration & Styling

It all started with my favourite colour palette of blush pink and red. We found the dream pink ballroom setting in the most incredible venue Garthmyl Hall. The most important element for me was the flowers as I’d imagined beautiful floral runners on banquet tables with almost gothic candles amongst them. Our incredible florist Donna at Pheasant Botanica somehow understood my ramblings and truly made my floral dreams come true.
