A Delicious Fusion……..part 1

So I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love this wedding. It’s an eclectic fusion of vintage glamour, retro chic and modern monochrome with an incredibly cool handsome groom and a fashion- magazine-worthy rock n roll bride.

Yup – it’s pretty darn delicious folks.

Kelly and Stuart were married at one of my favourite venues in the UK – Butley Priory, all of the gorgeous images are courtesy of Craig Williams Photography.

Lady Dragon

My shoes were amazing!!! I got them off of the internet they were Vivienne Westwood and called “Melissa”. They smelt of bubble gum, really high and painful but so worth it!!!!

Falling In Love

My dress was from the “The Wedding Shop” called “Magia” and the designer was La Sposa. I chose this because I really wanted a fish tale and I totally fell in love when I tried it on.

An Eclectic Mix

To accessorize I wore a Vivienne Westwood bracelet and a vintage style bird cage fascinator

Top Of The Shops

The bridesmaid dresses were from Topshop and the girls loved them. They fitted them perfectly – I had wanted something modern which they all felt comfortable with so they were an ideal choice.

All Change For Happiness

I chose “Petal Perfect” for the flowers, I had actually chosen another florist when I met these guys When I met them at a wedding fair however they were just made me feel so happy and they had so many ideas and made everything seem so achievable. I got the button idea from a magazine.

Working the 50’s

The ushers suits were hired from Moss Bross and Stuart’s suit was from Calvin Klein, we decided to go for a fitted suit as we wanted a real 50’s feel to our wedding.

D.I.Y Pretty

I actually decided to do my own hair and Make-up because I knew exactly how I wanted to look and I felt comfortable doing it myself

Beautiful venue beautiful couple……

Just you wait until you see all the rest of the beautiful details lovelies – ’tis a total treat.

Big Delicious Love

  1. Such a gorgeous venue!! It has real character.

Always love the Lady Dragons – I just feel that they’re such an important piece of British fashion culture.

The pic of Stuart with the bouquet is hilarious! What a cute, fun couple.

  2. Loving the boys 50’s vibes – cute! Making the usual appreciative noises about the LD’s – they are gorgeous in the blue colour. I’m still debating whether I’m brave enough to team my very classic SN gown with them or not……xxx

  3. So delicious I just want to eat it up! I’m loving the romantic rustic-ness of the ceremony, the glamour of the bridesmaids dresses, and all of the classic details.

  4. Loving a bride who does her own hair and make up – and well done to her she looks absolutely gorgeous! As does her husband – I keep on at Mr O to have his hair like his but he just scoffs at me!

I love the guys suits too, and the photo of the bride and groom kissing after the ceremony is amazing! Look at everyones faces in the background, classic

  5. What a very cute and stylish couple. Love the 50’s looks thrown in so well here. What a beautiful dress too!! I love the b&w picture of the bride in profile – look at that shape and the gorgeous buttons. And no matter how many times I see the oh-so-wonderful Lady D’s, they always look so fresh and fabby and perfect for the 50’s vibe here!
