A West End Wedding at The Ivy

If you’re thinking of London restaurants synonymous with luxury dining and an exclusive waiting list, The Ivy is ALWAYS the first one that spring to mind. But did you know you can hire their private room for weddings? If you’re looking for an achingly elegant space, brimming with art deco features, but where the focus is on the food, drinks and five star service, then look no further.

The Private Room at The Ivy is as glamorous and in demand as the restaurant downstairs. Up to 60 guests can be seated for a wedding breakfast, lunch or dinner, or 100 for a cocktail or canapé reception.

Following an extensive refurbishment earlier this year, The Ivy and its Private Room have a fresh new look, fashioned by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio. The most striking differences in the Private Room include a twinkling bespoke bar, a stunning collection of contemporary art and a hand-woven camouflage carpet. These, married with the signature harlequin stained glass windows and oak panelling, create a truly elegant and irresistibly alluring space.

Executive Chef, Gary Lee and his team create the menus for your special day, inspired not only by the seasons, but also by the eclectic and imaginative menu in the restaurant. Using only the finest ingredients, the chefs can write menus to suit personal tastes and dietary requirements.

Complimentary flowers, candles and menu cards are provided for the tables. Music is very much on the agenda with the baby grand nestling in the corner, and a jazz trio, string quartet or other musical entertainment can also be arranged.
