Inspiration

Angela and Theodore have managed to beautifully fuse African wedding traditions with Western wedding traditions, opting for a religious ceremony at their local Baptist church, followed by a marquee reception at a nearby hotel. They also changed out of their classic black-tie attire into a coordinating custom made blazer and dress matching the vibrancy of their guests and bridesmaids in bright orange and navy dresses. Soo much colour, culture and love.

What Made Our Day Unique

We were both really blown away by the quality of Sammy's and Ali's photos and wedding film. They were also very professional on the day and in all our communications with them. The same goes for Kelly and Celma at Not You Average I Do, whose team were a godsend managing our wedding of 400 guests.

African Wedding

We absolutely adore the love and vibrancy this African wedding holds. From the burnt orange flowers through to all the different outfits worn by the bridesmaids, weddings guests and family. Plus, all the incredible captures by Sammy Taylor Photography of the bride and groom interacting with each other, their wedding party and families. Soo many smiles and so many cherished moments.

Wedding Fashion

Love Bridal is an amazing boutique close to where we live that I have long dreamt of stepping into to get to my dream dress. Millie's Fashions and Daisy Robbins of I Do Custom Shoes did such beautiful and detailed work that will forever by cherished on my already gorgeous Amanda Wyatt dress, my bridesmaid dresses and my reception dress (made from scratch) as well as my one of a kind hand-painted wedding shoes.
