Inspiration

Everything about Italy is simply breathtaking. Take the romantic church this gorgeous couple chose to marry at for a start, gorgeous stonework, stunning architecture and picturesque views that go on for miles. The reception at the family home isn't too shabby either ????. The table scape and decor of the reception perfectly mirrors the surrounding beauty and natural elements, think greenery, berries and rustic wooden calligraphy signs all culminating in the chicest of celebrations. Bride Agnese looks like a modern day princess too in her Luisa Beccaria gown. There is nothing this dress doesn't feature; pleats, lace, a gorgeous silhouette, it's no wonder she'd fallen in love with the designers work before she was engaged. I have included lots of images of both the dress, styling and views by the very talented Matteo Crescentini Photography so you can swoon over and pin. Every. Last. Detail of this authentic Italian wedding day, because believe me you're going to want to!

The Wedding

Agnese the Bride: Me and my husband Ludovico decided to get married in my family country house in Umbria. The weeding mood was country and simple but super chic.

The Dress

My dream as a child has always been to dress Luisa Beccaria for my wedding and so I did.

Colour Scheme

The colour palette was inspired by the season. We got married on October 1st and we decided to use seasonal fruit for the table and a bit of red and purple for floral decorations.

Flowers

The florist Romina Virgili, from Sartoria Floreale, decided to use branches of vineyard and berries for table decoration during the lunch. We also decided to name every table with a famous wine and to use grape baskets for the table.

Catering

The lunch menu was prepared and studied by us and the catering Enoteca La Torre, from Rome. We decided together the menu and also the table settings. The idea was to have long tables surrounded by the olives trees but the weather forecast was not so good the day before so we decided to build a tensile structure over the garden. This B plan was an excellent solution even if at last the weather was hot and sunny! The guests enjoyed a bit of shadow at the end.

Special Moments

The most special moment during the lunch was our groom's speech, he described our love in the most truly adorable way ever.

Cake

Our wedding cake was so beautiful. It was 4 floors of vanilla with olive leaves as decoration.

Ceremony

We got married in a beautiful Romanic Church and our friends Mitzi and Francesca helped us to make the church look even better with their wonderful flower decorations.

Photography & Videography

Being passionate about photography, one of the most critical tasks was choosing the right photographer. We contacted many photographers but none of them really hit the spot until we met Matteo Crescentini. Since our first call we knew he was the right one. He also helped us to find the video maker and suggested us Emotions Films, we will never regret the choice.
