Inspiration

Can we just take a moment to appreciate this stunning aisle decor wedding for the equally breathtaking Annie & Duncan?! With homemade touches, thanks to a little help from her mother, the bride saw her floral vision come to life. A DIY flower arch and flower crowns, a homemade wedding cake and those floral bridesmaid dresses, everything just worked so well together! And do we need to mention the aisle flowers again?! Simply stunning!

Venue

They say things happen for a reason and they certainly did with us. We found Came House, a beautiful country house surrounded by stunning English gardens, after our previous venue fell through a few months before the wedding. However, we instantly fell in love with the place, especially the spectacular orangery where the ceremony takes place and the laid-back feel the owners create.

Aisle Decor Wedding

As the Bride walked to meet her Groom an acoustic cover of 'The Rose' played in the background and the aisle was lined with floral arrangements in hues of pink and purple. The exquisite orangery at Came House was the perfect space for the celebration, bringing the outdoors in. The Dorset venue provided an abundance of natural, romantic light and panoramic views of the beautiful Summer Gardens, which was continued with the clear span marquee for the reception.

Inspiration & Styling

I’ve always dreamt of my wedding day being a vision of floral pinks and nature so choosing a florist was an important decision. Luckily, we found Hanna at Flowers by Tidbury. We worked together (and with my Mum who made our stunning flower arch and flower crowns) to create an enchanting romantic scene in the orangery, made even more fabulous by the gardens of Came House shining through the glass. The colours and light was incredible! I continued the floral theme with my bridesmaids who wore gorgeous dresses from ASOS, they all looked so beautiful. The orangery brought the outdoors indoors, and we repeated this concept with the clear span marquee for the dinner, to make the most of the stunning Summer gardens. All this was captured by our incredible photographer, Steph Newton Photography. We immediately loved her natural and ‘in the moment’ pictures. She was so lovely to work with and a professional throughout yet with a friendly and engaging style. And most importantly, she captured the relaxed, glamorous and elegant vibe of the daY.
