Inspiration

Whenever I see a submission from Amy Fanton I get really excited. She just sends us the most fabulous shoots, and when I say that, I mean amazingly fabulous wedding inspiration that will make you swoon. Case in point - this Venice Shoot which went viral because of it's gorgeousness. This Botanical Shoot which was WAY ahead of the current botanicals trend. And this Neon & Brights Shoot which had a Bride in a blush pink dress before blush was even invented... Anyway, you get the picture. This shoot is every bit as stylish and fashion forward as Amy's last ones. In fact I love the venue so much, I'm thinking of eloping to Buenos Aires myself. Just need to convince the other half to propose, order this Katya Katya Shehurina dress and fashion some sort of epic braids/waves combo in my hair.

The Location

Amy the Photographer: Just a few kilometers outside of the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, is an idyllic market town called Tigre where locals from Buenos Aires head when they need a breath of fresh air to unwind. The styling for this bridal inspiration was coordinated by the talented team at HNAS Martin Martin and inspired by the the lush vegetation that grows in Tigre alongside the Parana Delta - one of the largest, and most beautiful deltas in the world.

The Styling

HNAS Martin Martin created an elegant blanket of foliage across the centre of the table, interspersed with golden berries and brass candlesticks, giving it a signature Autumnal feel. Antique dishes from La Melange were complemented with crystal and silverware and copper touches were used to reflect the colour of the river and the orange details of Tigre. Brass terrariums reflected the beautiful windowed architecture of La Lucarna and tied in modern geometric feel.

The Venue

The venue for the shoot was perfect because of it's seamless integration of architecture and nature - reflecting the magic and essence of Tigre. The various buildings are connected by a large courtyard where vegetation grows in every corner, and skylights pour in light from above. The vegetation is so powerful that it grips the walls and in every season paints a new living mural.

The Fashion

The bride wore a gorgeous gown by Katya Katya Shehurina that the was perfect combination of effortless elegance with it's lace long sleeved top and flowy, ethereal skirt. The bride's loose waves and side braid gave her look an Argentinian twist, complimented by natural, glowy makeup by Vicky Ray Studio. The groom looked extra sharp in a black tuxedo from Ashworth & Bird.

The Cakes

A lush wedding cake from Anima Cakes mirrored the movement of river water with a characteristic green foliage at the base of the cake and topped with flowers for a touch of sophistication and colour. Anima also created a number of small treats for the couple to keep them energised throughout the day.

The Flowers

HNAS Martin Martin also created the beautiful bouquet using neutral coloured flowers with touches of orange to maintain harmony with the rest of the decor and styling. Mil Letterpress Boutique Tipografica created a beautiful minimalistic stationary suite, mirroring the neutral colours and sleek lines of the space's architecture.
