Inspiration

A few months ago I was talking to the blog Queen herself, Mrs O'Shea, founder of RMW, about how insanely lush ALL the weddings were in Spain. We'd recently discovered photographers Padilla & Rigau and while pouring through their blog, our minds were totally blown by how gorgeous all the styling, the dresses and the photography was! Those Spanish couples seriously know how to throw a good wedding ;) And this stunner of a big day is no exception, stylish and laid back but full of fun and emotion. And wait until you see Andrea's dress - she looks completely gorgeous. Hats off to her Mother In Law who helped bring her vision to life! And those couple portraits overlooking the ocean are to-die-for!

The Wedding

The bride’s gown was designed by herself and her mother in law. The wedding was celebrated on the 26th of September in Sant Feliu de Guixols. The bride’s family are from this little town in Empordà, Catalonia. They agreed that this tradition was something they wanted to keep for this important date. They wanted to keep the picnic aesthetics with cushions and flowers everywhere.

Special Moments

When the bride and the groom entered the dinning room all the lights went off, and guests welcomed them with little hand lights and the song “Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay played. Another special moment was when Carla (bride sister's) read during the ceremony.
