Inspiration

Angela from Barcelona and Jeremy a stylish Parisian guy met each other in New York where they were both working. Their love story travelled the distance and continent to Paris, the most romantic city in the world. But when it came to the location of their wedding it just had to be Barcelona where the intense blue sea and sky merge together. Every last detail was planned & styled to perfection by Detallerie to make guests have the most authentic Spanish wedding experience ever. Spanish cuisine was served, Panamá hats and parasols were on hand, as well as the most fabulous infinity pool and Spanish Villa Casa del Mar to enjoy, where the guests not only partied at during the outdoor wedding reception, but also the following day at the pool party brunch. Can we also just take a moment to swoon over Angela's Verónica Miranda bridal separates and bridal up do. SO pretty. And not forgetting Diez & Bordons wonderful photography. The pictures are full of so much joy, they will definitely put a huge smile on your face as well as make you long for your Summer holidays.

The Wedding

Sofia Rodriguez: This wedding was inspired by a blend of the Mediterranean coast with the touch of the elegant and chic streets that you can only find in Paris. Angela and Jeremy’s wedding was a mix of sea freshness and the distinguished taste of one of the most romantic cities in the world. Angela is from Barcelona and Jeremy is an elegant parisian guy. They met at work in New York and after several years they wanted to celebrate bringing all their loved ones to a wedding day that no one would forget. Their guests came from all over the world to Barcelona so they wanted to get married surrounded by a true Mediterranean atmosphere.

Fashion

Jeremy wore a stunning suit design by The Fitters and Angela a beautiful Verónica Miranda bridal separates with a bouquet of lavander and peonies that we designed just as she had always dreamt of.

Ceremony

And so it all began: with a very close and emotional ceremony in a palace in the middle of the city with views to the sea. Along with their guests the newlyweds walked to the edge of the beach where hats, umbrellas and cold beverages where available to fresh them up. A vintage Mehari was waiting for the groom and bride to take them to the place of the celebration.

Venue

A spectacular arrival was waiting for everybody: a modern and sophisticated house with views to the sea that words cannot explain. After a half-afternoon appetizer around the pool they enjoyed an outdoor dinner where all the details reminded the charm of the Mediterranean coast, tiles in blue tones as place cards, centerpieces, crockery, cutlery and even the music was carefully chosen to make that night unforgettable.

Celebrations

The night was full of congratulations and signs of affection. It was a lovely wedding from the beginning to the end. Everyone enjoyed the party, especially those who traveled from far away to witness that memorable night. But this was just the beginning of an exciting weekend. The next day, the guests began to arrive one by one to the well-deserved, after-party-brunch. Fresh drinks, a swimming pool, little naps below the palm tree, conversations about last night and a summer playlist made everyone experience the true Mediterranean experience.

Food

We saved the best for last: a Spanish brunch filled with only the best gastronomic treats served in Spain. Meanwhile, some guests benefited to take some pics to make the memories last forever. The afternoon was falling and the guests were starting to go back home. Some enjoyed until the last minute and left even with their bathing suit on. At the end, only the bride, the groom and some of their closest friends remained to enjoy the sunset and the breathless view that had both witnessed a wedding weekend that probably no one will never forget.
