We had gathered our friends and family from the Thursday evening before the wedding so everyone had bonded by the Saturday. We had tapas and sangria on Thursday night, Friday was a picnic and lawn games during the day and a bbq in the evening (and the rain did not dampen anyone's spirits). Most of our guests stayed on Sunday too and we took them out on the lake for some lunch before heading back for an Italian feast. Many of our friends and family stayed in the house with us or in nearby cottages. We wish we could make it an annual event.
Inspiration & Styling
Elegant, with all of the little details accounted for and FUN!! We wanted people to have fun all weekend so we put together some gorgeous itineraries with the help of our friend Kerri who handled all of our stationery. This way everyone knew what was going on and where to be so that they could relax and enjoy the weekend. One of our favourite moments was looking around the room at everyone having a great time.
