Sharing the latest collection from Halfpenny London always makes my heart skip a beat. Kate's ability to create a line of bridal wear that is unique, ahead of the curve but still gorgeously wearable is second to none and there really is a dress here for every (stylish) bride. Inspired by the fabled lost city of Atlantis, this collection channels the asymmetric splendour of rugged coastlines and frothy waves caressing a sandy beach. It's also hugely versatile with a selection of lace tops and slips/dresses to combine plus a stunning shaggy jacket that is set to be the must have accessory for all winter brides. We have the pleasure of Kate sharing her favourite pieces from the collection on the blog this afternoon so grab a seat and get comfortable, I have a feeling you're about to find your dream dress...

{The Ridley Lace Top}

I’ve chosen four looks from the new collection which I adore. The first look is 2 looks in 1. It’s the Ridley Lace top with the fine French trim and covered buttons, worn under the Breeze high-low hem dress. It’s so fun and fresh and also very beautiful. The lace top can be worn over the dress as a jacket or inside the dress to make it look like a lace infill. (Also, see it below under our classic iris slip.) It’s a win-win addition. So diverse. The sleeves of the Ridley top are like wings and are so floaty and elegant. The perfect cut, something which we spend a lot of time working on and perfecting. All the seams inside are bound as are the armholes and the neckline. The finish is so beautiful.

{The Breeze Dress}

The Breeze dress worn without Ridley. Equally Rock and Roll. The dress has a stretch back to the corset for excellent fit and the pockets are the perfect place to hide your lipstick or grandmas hanky. Plus the high low hem shows off your killer shoes. (It’s also available full length too!)

{The Pearl Dress}

Pearl is a sweet simple dress. She’s so delicate and soft and the perfect light summer wedding dress. Styled here with an epic Tilly Thomas Lux statement piece it looks super edgy. You can even have a matching pearl veil. Each pearl is studded onto the Lace making it strong, and it gives a more 3D effect.

{The Shore Dress}

This is the Shore dress. She’s a modern day shirt dress made with stunning embroidered tulle. The trim is a gorgeous French lace and the covered centre-front buttons complete the modern, effortless feel. It has a fit and flair silhouette which complements the curves and a glorious puddle train to follow you into the wedding. The seam details on the back of the dress go into a v at the bottom of the back which makes for a perfect figure hugging fit. We styled it here with a huge Tilly Thomas Lux headpiece and star earrings which looks so regal and fun.

{The Cliff Dress}

This is my ultimate favourite dress from the collection, it’s all down to the craft and detail. It’s the least commercial piece but has been bought in by our stockists around the world. It can be worn with a floor length slip too which is beautiful. The fabric is silk organza and has boarders in French lace stitched on, completed with fine, silk organza pleating around the edges. It’s definitely one to try if you’re wanting a fashion forward look. The slinky slip still shows off your figure even though the dress is pretty square. It reminds me of the frills of an oyster. So elegant.

{The Shadow Coat}

I couldn’t resist adding in the accessory of all accessories if you’re having a winter wedding. The Shadow coat is constructed using Mongolian goat skin and soft leather napper. It has a satin lining and can be worn open or all cinched in with a broad leather belt. Available long or short it’s something you could wear every winter for years after your wedding.
