I love a beautiful wedding invite. One that is thoughtfully designed and reflective of the couple. I’m also a big fan of graphical prints so it’s no surprise that I’m about to rave about our amazing sponsors Original Wedding Tea Towels. Not only do they design fabulous invites in bold colours but they then print them on to tea towels. They don’t just have to be for invites either as they make the perfect favour as a little memento of your big day.
When it’s grey and cold outside I can easily get distracted dreaming of long lazy days in warmer climes. The choices for a sunny getaway are endless, and – if the holiday in question is your honeymoon – it deserves extra daydreaming and planning. But,where should you go? And which are the best hotels to visit? The ones worthy of that all-important holiday.
I have an ongoing love affair with beautiful hotels. For me the stay is almost as important as the destination itself – sometimes more so – so it’s essential to seek out the perfect hideaway. Your honeymoon is the one time you can really go to town (and, one hopes, a once-in-a-lifetime holiday), so I personally feel it’s a chance to choose one of those hotels that leaves you speechless. I know I did. Think infinity pools, lush landscapes, exquisite food and decor to die for.
When it comes to your wedding day you only want the very best suppliers. Those people who will transform your dreams and deliver over and above your expectations. We are lucky to work with some of the best in the industry and today we are sharing a little insight in to our wonderful sponsors. Everyone from photographers to an airstream bar. They really are the people you want involved in your big day.
With the weather on the turn and a chill in the air I am starting to dream of log fires and cosy days. There is something about winter that is so magical and when we feature stunning winter weddings I always have a fuzzy feeling inside. They are just so beautiful with the winter light and the gorgeous decor. I am a big fan of Eclectic Hotels with their stunning interiors and fabulous service so when they contacted us about their winter weddings package at Great John Street Hotel in Manchester we just had to share it with you.
When it comes to wedding planning it can be a daunting prospect trying to find all your suppliers. So it’s no surprise that many a bride-to-be set off for The National Wedding Show, normally with a few bridesmaids and mums in tow. With every element of your wedding in one place it’s a fantastic way to get ideas and seek out some of the best. From stationers to dresses you will find it all and no doubt have a lot of fun in the process. With shows in London, Birmingham and Manchester it’s a fantastic chance to get your wedding planning well underway.
Bridesmaid dress shopping can seem daunting when you are trying to please your nearest and dearest. You want to find a dress they both look and feel amazing in. It should be fun though and is an excellent excuse for a girly get together. Usually you have an idea of your decor before you begin, but don’t worry if not – sometimes the dresses you find may help to define the overall colour palette of your wedding day. Today we are sharing three of our favourite colour trends, each one guaranteed to have your best girls smiling.
We are big fans of the high street when it comes to choosing your wedding day looks. There are some such amazing styles out there and always bang on trend. I’m also a big fan of finding everything in one place so when we saw the new Tie The Knot collection from Ted Baker we were pretty smitten. Not only are there the most fabulous dresses for your bridesmaids and suave suits for the groom but you can now choose from some absolutely stunning bridal gowns. Yes, gorgeous gowns abound in the new collection with pretty embroidery, floaty skirts and bejewelled necklines. They really are gorgeous.
If you are on the hunt for the perfect wedding dress it is definitely worth looking outside of the traditional bridal boutiques. Some of the designs out there are just gorgeous and we were very excited when we were sent the brand new Ted Baker Bridal collection. It’s such a gorgeous collection of dresses coupling simple silhouettes and pretty detailing so we are excited to be sharing it with you all today.
I love a spot of kitchen chat and could spend hours browsing for new additions. I’m even the sad person that got excited when I received a new set of Robert Welch kitchen knives for Mother’s Day this year. Yep, my five year old daughter presented me with some carefully wrapped (and packaged I might add) knives. I feel Daddy may have got involved with the shopping. Anyway, I digress.
My love of all things home meant that putting together our gift list was a bit of a dream. Who doesn’t love choosing all manner of gorgeousness to adorn your house? There are pieces that you know you will love and use endlessly and that will be constant reminders of the person who kindly gifted them to you. It might be some delicate glassware, a pretty candlestick or some practical saucepans but each and every one should be something you love.
