Inspiration

This wedding was definitely one big party with a balloon wedding arch and Brazilian dancers. The Century Club in London provided the perfect venue for guests to let loose and feel comfortable to dance the night away, whilst also tailoring the menu for our vegan couple. The bride looked stunning in a beautiful Sottero & Midgley dress, which she actually bought before the engagement itself, well when you know, you know! It was a real chance for everyone to let their hair down with their closest friends and family and even though it was a Winter wedding, the dance floor was on fire!

What Made Our Day Unique

We just wanted a big party, where everyone would feel comfortable to be themselves, let loose and have a good time. We have a lot of family and friends so it was really important to us that everyone we loved could come together to celebrate with us. We wanted a London venue so that it was pretty central for everyone to get to and we went big on the entertainment with a live band, dancers and a vodka luge - we just wanted everyone to have a really good time and create a really fun and free atmosphere. We're also both vegan, which meant the standard food options didn't really do it for us. Amy the Head Chef at Century took the time to understand our favourtie foods, how we like to eat and the vibe we wanted to create on the day - she created a bespoke menu for us that ended up going down a storm with all our guests!

Balloon Wedding Arch

Not only did Century Club provide a great backdrop to the day's celebrations with all the foliage and the light up signs, but the couple chose a balloon wedding arch and a big ice sculpture to add to the decor! Wanting the day to be one big party, the newly married couple enlisted the help of some Brazilian dancers to surprise the guests after the first dance and to really get the party going!

Inspiration & Styling

Whilst we wanted the vibe to be pretty casual and relxed, as someone who lives for all things extra, I wanted the day to feel quite feminine and a bit luxe. The mixed pink colour scheme provided a great contrast and brightened up the dark interiors of the venue space, but also allowed us to mix in some deeper tones without being too wintry and the metallics went in with the tin tiled ceiling in the ceremony room, where we also had our wedding breakfast. Becuase we were having a winter weddding, we knew we wouldnt really be going outside so we loved the idea of the glass ceiling on the roof terrace, which made it feel like we were outside and that we were partying under the stars. I had all the Chrismas decorations taken out as I wanted more of n NYE feeling, but we left all the lights and foliage up which looked amazing against the black sky in the evening.
