So, it would seem that we are all about the hair accessories just recently… can’t imagine why that would be… 😉

After the rather formal but very glamorous Louis Mariette taking over our pages on Sunday with glittering jewel like pieces, we now have a post of still glamourous but completely different pieces by one of my favourite ever accessory designers…

As I write this I’m actually feeling rather guilty for this gaping omission so far on our pages of pretty, for surely has some of the most whimsical, perfectly delicious and sweet as sugar creations for a bridal head to be decorated with, but if we always shared everything in our heads there wouldn’t be anything left to blog about. I’m mighty glad today is the earmarked day for us to share with you. Sure makes a Tuesday special!

I could wax lyrical all day about how beautiful these babies are, but how about you take a look for yourself…

Bow Peep

Um, hello to the accessory that’s a little bit sweet, a little bit tongue in cheek and totally retro fabulous, the bow.

*101 $165 and 104 $130

Veil Va Voom

How much Mad men glamourama can you put into one birdcage veil? Rhetorical question, as make the perfect example.

*11, $135

Flower Child

Fancy something floral and full on fabulous? Well, whether you want to work a completely grown up chic look, or be all floaty channelling a flower child, there’s something for you…

*Clockwise from top left: 10 $130, 112 $225, 111 $130 and ‘m’ $35!

I’m seeing #10 worn with a flowing vintage number, working this seasons seventies vibe, or 112 at a terribly elegant affair with ball gown style.

Simple and Sweet

Not looking to make a statement? Just want something simple, elegant and A.Mazing? Well we’ve got that covered too with super lovely bands…

*Clockwise from top left: 60 $95, 115 $225, 88 $165 and 92 $225.

Loving the bee hives, loving the sixtes vibe and loving the simple chic with these beauties.

We Die…

And I might just die if I don’t show you the most beautiful accessory images I have ever seen. Yes folks, we are very very, naughty as this is the Couture collection, with prices to match. But with $300 translating to around £170 it isn’t necessarily out of reach.

* couture, prices $300-350.

And Yes. We Die.

Of course there was more lovely than I could fit on these very pages so you will just have to head on over to and check out the array of finery that could bedeck your maids or in fact your own fair locks for that looming special occasion…

I have only one more thing to say.

Get me those Eye Lashes!

Yours Truly,

  1. 101- cute-ilicious! Love the many little bows!

The couture collection is wonderful and she has my hair colour so I would SO have gone there for my hairpiece….even though they are the top end they aren’t out of reach, like you say. The tiara on the lower right hand side would have been my choice!!

  2. I wonder if I could carry off red hair and an English rose complexion?!
Please stop posting pretty hair accessories, or I will have to keep buying one each time you do and then will have to change said hair accessories on the hour every hour at my wedding just so I get to wear them all! xoxo

  3. Oooooooh I love ALL of the bands! ALL of them!

And I agree with Mahj… I wish I could pull of amazing red hair like that! Phewy!

  4. Wow I love the big bow, wouldn’t suit me but I would love to see it on another bride. I do want to try some massive lashes though! xXx

  5. Find it hard to believe there are not more commenters swooning all over the place at these beauties – perhaps that’s the problem, have you all fainted at your computers with the deliciousness overload?

I love these. More than anything right now. Makes me fall in love with being a wedding blogger again.

  6. ah the couture (le sigh)

I am all about the hair accessories right now, (its next on my list doncha know) so this is a *very* timely post ladies! x x x

  7. i love the accessories but i have a very strict pearls only no diamante policy for my outfit, and i think the flowers will be too frew frew for my dress! any just pearl hair accessories out there anyone!

  8. I think you just solved my hair accessory problem.

And Rebecca, I actually did faint when I saw them this morning, it’s taken me all day to recover.

  9. Question,

Do you think the birdcage veil or the huge white flowers would go with Pronovias Fauna?

I am sorely tempted but worried as cannot try before buying!

  10. I love ban-do I do! A little pricey perhaps, is there a UK supplier doing anything this cool for less money? If so, I would very much like to know about them.

I also ponder whether ban-dos would fit on my big head – I tried a high street rip off which had a pearl headband and ping ping ping bust it on the shop floor trying it on – so embarrassing! xxx

  11. Hmmmmm

I slept on it, and I definitely think I will go with the flowers, they are just perfect.

    Whooohoo! Another wedding detail sorted!
