This glasshouse wedding venue is always a favourite and you can definitely see why, and then you add the foliage decor, cutest wedding guest and those beaded bridesmaid dresses and it's even more amazing! The church ceremony was followed by the romantic relaxed reception at this venue set in the Devonshire countryside with garden games, rustic wedding signs and a delicious cheese tower cake that the bride's mum had sourced herself. Anran is already full of botanical decor so the white wedding flowers - from Miranda Hackett Flowers, one of our handpicked suppliers - and foliage table decor only added to the venues splendour!
What Made Our Day Unique
Our goal was to make our wedding a huge reunion with friends and family all over the world. I wanted it to be relaxed, fun and silly and it was exactly that. From the moment we woke up to the moment the party ended (the bride and groom were the last on the dancefloor at 3am!) Everyone was in such good spirits and the entire day just flowed beautifully. The weather was so warm which was the icing on the cake.
Beaded Bridesmaid Dresses
The bride chose a Eliza Jane Howell wedding dress with a tulle mermaid skirt and it looked simply stunning, it looks like it was designed especially for her! Flanked by her four bridesmaids who looked pretty in pink beaded bridesmaid dresses holding simple Gypsophila bouquets ties with white ribbon! And of course, we can't not mention the handsome four-legged guest, the couple's dog, who donned a smart bow tie for the occasion!
Inspiration & Styling
In three words: Good music, plenty of booze and amazing food! Once I knew these key areas were sorted I could focus on the wedding styling. I wanted the entire day to relaxed reflect the mood so I kept it stripped back, natural colours and rustic. Being half Greek (Christina) I used greens, whites and olives as inspiration. I worked at Nkuku at the time so I had a lot of 'rustic' style ideas to work with!
