David Morgan Photography is pretty sure he has the best job in the world and as we are pretty obsessed with weddings ourselves we would have to agree!
“I’ve been shooting weddings for over 10 years now, and the job just gets better every day. Sometimes I wonder what I would be doing if I wasn’t photographing weddings, and I genuinely don’t have a clue.
I always want my clients to know that they are hiring the best wedding photographer for their special day and that they won’t have any regrets. For that reason I’m constantly trying to improve and develop my craft – even though I’ve got two Fearless Photography Awards, 10 years of experience and I’ve been named one of the best photographers in the UK by Brides Magazine.”
For me, shooting weddings is about creating stories. I’m a photojournalist, and I create photographic narratives of weddings in a combination of colour and black-and-white. I get right into the action and capture the little moments that make every wedding different. This means my photos are never formulaic, and every couple will end up with photographs that are completely unique.
I’ve shot hundreds of weddings, and each one is special to me. I always feel proud to be able to share such an important moment in a couple’s life.
Jewish Wedding Photographer – My Speciality
I specialise as a Jewish wedding photographer, and some of my best photographs have been from Jewish weddings. These are very different to photograph from other weddings, and a photographer who has never worked on a Jewish wedding will find it quite a shock.
The fun, excitement and passion of a Jewish wedding is a wonderful experience. I get really involved in the action, capturing moments like the Israeli dancing in all their glory. Always being in the right place at the right time for the spontaneous events is essential, and you really get to feel the emotions flowing.
Many couples choose to get married overseas these days, and one of their biggest challenges is finding the best wedding photographer they can for their big day. Often they will rely on the wedding coordinator at the venue to find one, but the photographer may not shoot in the style they want.
As a destination wedding photographer, I offer to go along with the couple. They get peace of mind in knowing that their images will be perfect for their big day, and they can relax in the knowledge that they have a photographer they can trust who understands exactly what they want.
These are really special for me, and I’ve shot weddings in Italy, Scandinavia and the USA over the years. It may cost the couple a bit more for my flight, but the payoff is that they get the wedding photos they really want.
I Love It
It is such an honour to be involved in photographing weddings, and I love my job. I meet so many wonderful people and get to share in their happy memories, whether in the UK or abroad, whether Christian weddings or Jewish weddings. Quite simply, I wouldn’t be doing anything else.
