Inspiration

My obsession with Spanish weddings continues this morning...I mean...just WOW. From Blanca's elegant and simple Barea wedding dress, to her floral accessories, the abundance of stylish girlies, the outdoor reception space filled with white flag bunting and festoon lights, surrounded by palm trees and next to a gorgeous azure swimming pool...honestly the whole wedding is just beautiful. Even better, it has been captured by the talented Padilla & Rigau who we've been crushing on for a while now. Each time I look through their work, I fall more and more in love with their style. They capture all of the details, all of the emotion and all of the moments that truly matter about a wedding day. Enjoy this sunshine soaked wedding day lovely ones, it's a beauty!

The Fashion

The bride’s gown is a tailored dress from Barea, a little shop in Barcelona. She was looking for something simple and delicate. Nothing pretentious. The groom’s suit is from a little tailor’s shop in Sant Gervasi, a lovely neighbourhood in Barcelona.

The Venue

Jorge and Blanca met in Ciutadella, a charming town in Menorca. It was during the local holiday known as Sant Joan (mid-June). Since that unique day have never stopped talking, in a way the felt a connection. Menorca has always been a special place for them, so it was clear that the wedding would take place there. They also chose a date close to Sant Joan, so that guests could stay and enjoy the local holiday. The venue was Son Salomó. They didn’t want any fancy hotel, they wanted somewhere wild and located in the countryside that could reflect their personality. No overdose, no excess, just pure and simple nature.

The Decor

The bride and the groom themselves took charge of the logistics. They organised everything and decided every single detail. They even did some of the decorations themselves! A real DIY wedding. With a little help from their families they made: • Little boards to write the guests names and the sitting scheme. • A gin tonic bar made of wood, built by the bride’s father. • Little wooden boxes filled with flowers.

The Flowers

The bride chose Magnolia & Co for anything flower-related: she wore a beautiful floral crown and carried a beautiful and delicate the bouquet
.

The Food

They chose S’Algar Catering to take care of the food. They prepared a wonderful menu filled with traditional Balearic dishes with a modern twist.

The Photography & Videography

They were determined to bring along all the way from Barcelona the photographers and videographers from Padilla & Rigau. After checking out their work, they knew it went along really well with their personality and their idea of a dimple and delicate wedding.
