Inspiration

It may only be Spring, but we're skipping ahead to Autumn this afternoon for all the delights of this bohemian wedding inspiration. There are meringue tower cakes, Persian rug altars and a tablescape of dreams. All of this is dressed in the most beautiful florals and foliage and take place in the wonderful woodland of Patrick's barn. After you've reached for your pin button we apologise in advance to all kitchen cupboards who find them self raided as a result of mouths watering whilst savouring the delights of the dessert table. Enjoy!

VISION

Soft and romantic gothic shoot with colours and textures creating a boho beauty for bohemian wedding inspiration.

STYLING

The bohemian elements are apparent and were styled by Betty Loves Vintage. Natural, real and autumnal tones were at play throughout which are undeniably perfect for the style of the barn. The Light Painters captured the shoot perfectly using textures and lighting to enhance the romantically Gothic vibes. The rich colours of the flowers, food and table dressing and soft bohemian styling were a perfect fit for the traditional and rustic barn. A variety of rich and beautiful flowers and foliage were used in the ceremony, creating asymmetric columns which framed the models and brought out the colours of the Indian rugs. - Hannah Mac Lennan

Bohemian Wedding

Don't you just love Autumn? This wonderful time of year lends perfectly to bohemian weddings due to its rich colours, textures and dreamy light. It helps it includes a dessert table of dreams too. All displayed beautifully on a vintage dresser with complementary fruit, foliage and flowers. A bohemian wedding wouldn't be complete with a boho bride and boy is this bride a beauty. Her halterneck dress and bridal updo with hair vine are simply divine. Not to mention her dewy skin and natural makeup applied by makeup artist Kimberley Louise Makeup.

DESSERT TABLE

The deep burgundy colours and loose foliage worked well with the dessert table supplier by The Garden Chef. The food was also styled by The Garden Chef, who drew elements from the environment and the autumnal tones to create a dessert table rich in colour and texture with an unusual twist on a traditional wedding cake. There is a distinctly gothic element to the menu and the unusual rich flavours and colours of the food pull the whole table together. A flower garland on a wooden trestle table was complimented with cut glass, vintage crockery, gold cutlery and brass candlesticks by Co-ordination Catering Hire and dressed with an almost macabre style dessert buffet. . - Hannah Mac Lennan

Well, what did you think? Delicious right! And we're not just talking about all the bite-sized treats. But whilst we're on the subject of food, we thought you'd enjoy our feature on one of 2019's hottest trends; grazing tables.
