If you're looking for fierce bridal fashion, look no further: this bridal cape veil and lace fishtail dress by Pronovias is perfection. And for bride Claudia, it was clearly meant to be after someone accidentally posted photos of another dress she had chosen on Facebook instead of sending them to her privately. Eek! Which just goes to show that everything happens for a reason, as this gown could not be more suited to Claudia's own style. In fact, this was not the only mishap our plucky couple encountered in their wedding planning journey, with their original photographer cancelling following a double booking. But again, all worked out for the best when On Love and Photography stepped up to the mark, delivering a catalogue of exquisite captures which we are thrilled to be sharing with you today.
Styling "I did the styling myself, using a minimalist theme to complement the venue. We hired cherry blossom trees with hanging candles in the branches and placed these at the end of the aisle. This created a romantic altar for us to say our vows under and a great photo backdrop for guests to take pictures. We didn’t have a wedding planner, so one of my top tips is not to be afraid to ask for help from family and friends when dressing your venue, and to use Pinterest. Set aside lots of time for Pinterest!" - Claudia & Jacob

Lace Bridal Cape Veil

I found my dream Pronovias dress at Ava Rose Hamilton. I’d seen it on the Pronovias website but it was slightly out of my budget. I couldn’t believe my luck when I found it for half price in a sample sale. The veil-like cape was the selling point for me. I wanted something unique and different to anything traditional – exactly as I dress from day to day. My fashion was complemented by Jacob and the groomsmen in traditional tails, whilst my bridesmaids wore multiway dresses in fossil green. I wanted everyone to feel confident in what they wore and loved that all six girls could customise the dresses to reflect their own personal style.
Music "As big music fans the music was very important to us; although it was really hard to narrow down a ceremony playlist. We chose 'California Daze' by Peace as our processional piece because it was a significant song to us when we first started dating. We walked back down the aisle to 'Best Friend' by Queen, and for our first dance we chose 'Let’s Stay Together' by Al Green - a song we knew we would dance to before we even got engaged!" - Claudia & Jacob
