Planning

Over the weekend we kicked of special series of blog posts for June focusing on bridal beauty. If you missed the first post on doing your own wedding make up, you can find it here. Today we're sharing the Pro Picks Wedding Essentials set from Bobbi Brown, which is the perfect starter kit for making you feel your beautiful best. We'll be sharing lots of skincare and beauty posts over the coming days and weeks - so if there's anything you'd like us to cover please just ask. But for now, let me introduce you to the bridal beauty set of dreams, tried and tested by yours truly...
{SET INCLUDES}
The Bobbi Brown Pro Picks Wedding Essentials is the ideal set of basics for any skin tone and type as the shades are universally flattering and perfect for that natural, done but undone, slightly flushed bridal look. (For the record I have olive skin with Indian heritage). Full-Size Shimmer Brick in Rose Full-Size No Smudge Mascara Full-Size Face Blender Brush Mini Long-Wear Eye Pencil in Jet (1g) Mini Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm (5ml) Mini Pot Rouge in Powder Pink (1.7g) Mini Crystal Lip Gloss (7ml) I've always been a powder blush user until I tried Pot Rouge and now I'm a complete convert - it's so easy to blend and sits on top of my foundation in a much more natural way. It's also long lasting and I can still see it at the end of the day with zero touch ups. The hero product for me though, has to be the BB Illuminating Moisture Balm. It's a slightly shimmering gel like consistency that you warm slightly between your fingers before applying. It melts into skin and gives you that gorgeous glowing, dewy skinned look we all want but without looking greasy or shiny. I love so much I now use it most days.
{HOW TO USE}
Pat Extra Illuminating Balm on the cheekbones, shoulders and décolleté, then using the Face Blender Brush lightly dust Shimmer Brick on cheeks, forehead, nose and chin - anywhere sun naturally hits the face. Use a light touch if you're going to be in a lot of photos. Line the top and bottom lashlines with Long-Wear Eye Pencil in Jet, making sure to line all the way around the eye. To waterproof lashes, apply 2-3 coats of No Smudge Mascara alone, or over another formula. Press Pot Rouge on cheeks and lips, finishing with a swipe Crystal Lip Gloss. You can purchase your own set here: Bobbi Brown Pro Picks Wedding Essentials. Whether you're doing your own wedding make up or not, I'd highly recommend Bobbi Brown products and a consulation with a member of the team. Don't forget to share any ideas for beauty posts you'd love to see on RMW with us below the post. And catch up with previous posts here.
