Inspiration

A chic bridal two piece looked beautiful at this rustic garden party wedding in the Cotswolds with lots of florals and of course fairy lights! This relaxed wedding featured an open-sided sail cloth marquee stunningly decorated with hanging foliage chandeliers and lots of natural cow parsley in theme with this gorgeous country garden in The Cotswolds. In keeping with the vibe of this garden party wedding, this couple opted for plenty of locally sourced suppliers including the North Cotswold Brewery and Cotswold Gin, their caterers ticked all of this couples boxes with delicious food, a relaxed atmosphere and even serving wood-fired sharing feasts cooked inside a converted land rover all captured perfectly by Clara Cooper Photography.

WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE

"Having our wedding reception at my aunt’s family home made it so special- it was very personal and most importantly a happy and relaxed day! We were able to plan and coordinate everything ourselves and had the choice to work with some wonderful suppliers and the freedom to put our own stamp on the day. There were so many personal touches from homemade signs and napkins, beautiful flowers arranged by the bride’s mum, calligraphy by the groom’s mum and many other family members helping out." - Ella & Patrick

Bridal Two Piece

This bride wore a stunning Halfpenny London bridal two piece consisting of a camisole satin slip and an appliqué floral skirt both sourced from White Closet Studios, perfectly teamed with a homemade veil by the bride's grandma and finished using hand-cut appliqués from the excess material cut off the skirt! The bridesmaid wore a simple white satin Ghost London dress which is very reminiscent of Pippa Middletons and worked beautifully with the white bouquets styled by the brides mum. These are not the only personal touches added to this couple's wedding, the bride made their semi-naked rustic wedding cake and the groom's mom created the beautiful table settings all these little touches coming together wonderfully for this dream day!

INSPIRATION & STYLING

"We wanted our guests to have a memorable and relaxed day and tried to create a garden-party vibe with lots of florals and candles and of course fairy lights! We took inspiration from lots of sources including Instagram, Pinterest & Rock My Wedding! We wanted the styling to fit with the setting a truly beautiful country Cotswold house and grounds and we made sure to use local Cotswold suppliers to celebrate this such as the kegs of ale from North Cotswold Brewery who are a fantastic family run business and Cotswold Gin. We chose our flowers based on those growing in my aunties garden including lots of natural gorgeous cow parsley!" - Ella & Patrick

This couples advice is to try and not get too wrapped up in the stress of planning, give yourself plenty of time to avoid suppliers being booked up and be sure to enjoy the whole process.
