Inspiration

Sam and Adam tied the knot last July in London with the beautiful bride in glasses and a stunning Rolling In Roses dress. The Old Dairy played host to their special day which they covered in the most amazing flower arrangements, a copper arch and fabulous table decor which added lots of colour to this industrial venue dressed with festoon lighting. Opting for DIY touches to make their day even more personal this couple made lots of the decor including the wooden welcome sign and the custom confetti bags. Casual and industrial was the theme for both the ceremony and the reception with a hint of The Simpsons! To continue with the fun this bride and groom also hired a mariachi band which paired with the Mexican street food truck and was all finished off with some delicious doughnuts tieing in with The Simpsons theme perfectly. This fun-filled day is captured by Chris Barber Photography.

What Made Our Day Unique

We wanted our day to be hand made. There wasn’t a theme as such, we just knew we wanted lots of flowers and some hints/references to The Simpsons. Our favourite moment was having so many random groups of friends and family coming together that may not have normally met, to play beer pong, get in the Photobooth from Photobot.Co and have good old dance!

Bride in Glasses

This bride in glasses looked amazing wearing a statement red lip teamed with her Rolling In Roses dress which featured long sheer sleeves and lots of embellishment, pairing with the dress the bride wore a delicate hair accessory and statement earrings completing her look fabulously. Her bridesmaids also wore embellished dresses made up of silver sequins which looked incredible next to their bright floral bouquets. The floral decor and bouquets by Petalon Flowers were amazing, so much detail and colour and styled this industrial venue perfectly.

Inspiration & Styling

Casual, industrial, flowers everywhere, with a hint of The Simpsons. Something that wasn’t stuffy and where everyone could just have fun! There was lots of DIY and lots of eBay for furniture. A lot of the furniture hire companies had quite high prices so we managed to find more seating, sofas and a cabinet which we upcycled. We also made a custom painted ping pong table, seating plan and settings, and a welcome sign. There was lots of photoshop to create some custom confetti bags which doubled as an Order of the Day, as well as the Shotgun Pete's Wedding Chapel sign on the venue. We did lots of Googling and researching when choosing our suppliers, the ones we picked were genuinely lovely people and people that we could see ourselves having a drink with!
