What Made Our Day Unique
We wanted to have a blend of English and Jamaican vibes with our food and drink choices, including jerk chicken skewers, cod fitters and rum punch for our drink's reception accompanied by a steel band. We wanted to have as much music as possible, including Jermain Jackman in the church, a harpist and DJ Matt Richards for evening entertainment.
Bury Court Barn
Deciding that they wanted to get married in the church that Alice used to go to in primary school, this couple looked for venues nearby and fell in love with the rustic charm of Bury Court Barn. Choosing to decorate in white and green foliage and flowers and with sage bridesmaid dresses, everything complemented the Farnham venue beautifully and was the perfect place for their English country wedding with a Jamaican twist!Inspiration & Styling
We decided we wanted to get married in Farnham where Alice grew up and specifically in the Church she attended whilst at Primary School so when we looked at venues in the area, we fell in love with Bury Court Barn. Such open space, and a blank canvas to dress how we wanted. Alice has always loved neutral colours and knew she wanted whites and greens to tie in with the barn vibe. We wanted an English style wedding and the Barn had the perfect vibes for this.
